Jeez, poor Biggs. Just wondering, is bed lining suspension parts a thing? Seems like it would be. What are the down side to it, other than probably harder to clean?
Would be really hard to clean, but would be durable. But like m11ler93 said, weight & cost. You'd have to tape off a ton of area for bearings/bushings/threads etc
Rustbelt Mechanic Raptor Lined a bunch of his suspension parts. But yeah. You'd want to go with a smoother texture than what you'd want for a bed or bumper for ease of cleaning. And you gotta be careful what areas are coated and what aren't.
Would’ve just sprayed some good ol rust-oleum, he already payed for it, I would’ve just gave him the money but there would’ve been some words exchanged and some hits if it went south in that altercation. He’s young, daytona is important for a lot of youngins because it’s the biggest thing to do in the summer. Just next time, he should take his own advice about “rushing it.” It’s a nice color though.
As a 13th gen owner and lifelong Ford guy(my family has always owned Fords) I'm pumped for this series! Question Biggs, what motor is your EB? I have a 2.7, but I'm doing my motor work now. I added a tune, but I'm thinking about getting the turbos upgraded

spray some same color spray paint over the bad spots. not the right way to do it but should slow down rust or not speed it up at-least. will look just fine from 3 feet back lol
Bought a 2008 Chevy 2500 with a 6” lift thinking I’d love a lifted truck and only a month in and I’m lowering it to a leveling kit between the terrible ride and having to jump in and out a bunch while working it just sucks I don’t know how people daily these things they’re stupid and I’m a 17 year old not some 40 year old

Weight and cost mainly, along with adding significant thickness to precision machined parts.

Seriously lol. I use a ton of touch up black and white paint on my truck. No one notices and it prevents rust

2016 f150 5.0 on rc coil over and on 35s 22/12.5 love my setup
Good luck with gas mileage with the Ecoboost it drops to about 6 -9 miles a gallon I got a 6" rough country lift on 35 inch tires

I would imagine it's pretty much impossible to work at a place like custom offsets and not do a build.
Did those parts get powder coated with the bushings still in them? Am I seeing that right? Powder coat cure temps can't be good for those...
That will vary on bushing, but yes they were and were coated with powder as well =\
