I’m from Ireland and I think he’s great and very bright, but I thought it was difficult to understand him when he started to speak quickly, I’m not sure how an English audience coped with that?

One of the funniest comic there is and probably the very smartest. No wonder his wife is a London surgeon.

My General Theory of Relatively Funny Stuff is that we need to laugh to learn. That's the foundation of such things as why children are so easily amused and why slapstick is funny. Children are ALWAYS learning and we learn how not to be injured by watching the slapstick accidents of the Three Stooges. At deeper levels, like his political comedy, the jokes depend on deep understanding of the political realities...

Unfortunate that the interviewer either had no sense of humour, or couldn't keep uo with the speed of Dara's mind.

I think the one comedian who is famous for not turning the comedy off off-stage was Robin Williams. May he rest in peace.

I enjoy his stuff immensely and am always greatly impressed by how he rambles on away from whatever point you'd think he was about to make and then, eventually, manages to find his way back to complete it.

What he has to say is worth hanging in there until you ear tunes in to the speed and accent. What he has to say about life is well worth listening to (I'm old, but I remember being young).
