If you had put Raise tyres it would have been better to ride. Secondly most riders try to buy this bike seeing the ladak ride adds.. as if people will commute daily there 😂. It's slightly heavy tourer bike comfortable for people above 5'7 feet .
I think what you are calling as black ice is just a wet road/mud. On actual frozen black ice it would be impossible to ride a bike without someone pushing from behind as you would have no grip whatsoever!

That’s was frozen black ice not just mud and wet road. It was not all over so we were able to ride but slowly.
