Coraline is one of the best animations i've ever seen. I remember being scared of the other mother spider form and also shocked when i found out every piece of that world was made in real life. Also, i know it might not be your style but i would be really grateful if you could make a tutorial how to sculp The Alastor from Hazbin Hotel.

I love Coraline! It's my favorite comfort movie. This is so exciting, especially if this is successful and we get other-mother. I might have to do some Coraline art now. Conveniently, my sister asked me to last night. I'm sure she would be happy to see this as well. Great job!
Tip: Add a small dollop of smooth liquid gesso in the first layer of bright colours. Not too much, just a little. This will make the paint a bit more solid before you go on with the next few coats of the actual paint.

I won't lie, I was legit scared when I first watched Coraline. I did it alone in the middle of the night in the dark in my attic room and when we got to the other mother bouncing on that web and Coraline making her escape, I was freaking out. lol Absolutely adore that movie though definitely in my top 5 favorites and you did a great job with this Coraline! I would LOVE to see you do the Other Father Squash form!!!

Great Book, great Movie, great Sculpture. She definetly needs Her Cat and the OTHER Mother. I recommend using Artist Quality Acrylics at least for the Yellow, they got a higher Pigmentload. Or try a white Priming underneath.

13:37 you could have used a light gray or a light bone color that's very heavily pigmented as your base coat and then put the yellow color on top of it. That's how I'm able to paint yellow and red on top of my minis when they're base coated in black.

I agree with other commenters, a base out with a layer of white gesso under your light colours will help you get the pop with less layers of paint. Or the colour gesso mix as also suggested. Anyway, great sculpt as usual. 😀🌈👍🏻
