Happy New Year!! What better way to ring in the new year than with Count Orlok lol. Let me know what you think of him and who or what you want to see me make this year! Thank you for being here ❤
Very cool, dude! Props to the costume and makeup departments of Nosferatu, too, for creating such a striking character. The addition of the mustache is a nice touch. Most people forget that Braham Stoker gave Dracula a mustache in the original book. Hollywood made him clean-shaven.
Well, when I made Dracula the bad guy in a Twilight fanfic I wrote a few years ago, I gave him the mustache there. So that has to count for something, right?
Count Orlok's appearance looks like the count Vlad III - including the mustache. He inspired Dracula by Bram Stoker and was known for impaling his enemies.
Well, they just took the cloes of Vlad Tepes, they took this historical character and transformed him into....this. Is quite sad to see a national hero turned into this...
This sculpture is so rich in texture. The clothing doesn’t give the feeling that it’s not fabric. Love the face details as well. One of your best. Great start to the new year.
Not only is this a great reimagining of Count Orlok from the 1922 film, it’s also, by far, the most accurate depiction of Bram Stoker’s original concept for Dracula ever put to film, both visually, in terms of his physical appearance described in the novel, and in terms of his characterization in the novel, being the “embodiment of evil.”
I'd argue appearance-wise, the 1970 Franco version gets closer because while they both have a stache, Dracula isn't described as being a full-on decaying zombie like they made Orlok look like in this film, and Orlok doesn't get younger as he drinks blood like other versions of Dracula do either.
@@samiamtheman7379 he might not be described as a zombie, but folk european vampired are very zombie like in appearence. They look closer to zombies than like twilight vampires
This is absolutely incredible the first amazing sculpture of the new year. Well done, Ace. Your people sculptures are masterfully incredible ❤ Keep it up!
Dude!!!!! That is the most sinister thing I've ever seen!!!! I love it!!! The facial detail really came out well in gray scale!! Keep up the phenomenal work!!!
He looks fantastic! I think my only small critique would be that his coat was a lot bigger and more hulking on his frame. but apart from that, it’s excellent.
Great interpretation of the traditional Cossack coat. Those extra-long sleeves were usually sewn closed and used as extra deep pockets. Fantastic sculpt.
I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I enjoyed watching your review! You did such an amazing job detailing your experience and offering your insights. Thank you for the effort and passion you put into the review!Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Wow, truly next level you’ve done such a great job. I haven’t seen this character in movies but just the way that you have created such depth of expression it’s amazing. Thank you for your work. Keep showing appreciate your time.
Love to see you sculpting more serious things. These types of sculptures, I think, show your skills much better than your usual goofy kid friendly stuff. Would love to see you push yourself more in terms of anatomy and especially dynamic posing.
TH-cam stopped giving me notifications and stopped putting your videos in my feed. I thought you quit or took a break. Man I've got some catching up to do. Glad you're still making great sculptures. ❤
Happy New Year! Outstanding sculpt as always! You always make it look so effortless, but that's just the sign of an expert master of their craft... the fur and mustache texture has to be my fav guess I gotta watch the movie now lol even though I'm more of a What We Do in the Shadows movie... need to watch that series also...
Amazing! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time but have never commented but this time I had to because it was so amazing!! We also just saw this movie and it was awesome!
great job on count Orlok is really cool and I love watching your videos they are so amazing and this year I want to see more guide characters and if possible can I see some more Dr Seuss characters and I'm so happy that you are back and Happy New Year🎊🎊🎊
Love that hand sticking out from under his coat. I feel like he could've had a slightly bigger back like a slight hunch to him. But seriously its so cool!
Happy New Year to you. Very instructive and the result is absolutely wonderful. Thank you, I will be revisiting I am sure when I begin a character sculpture of my own.
Looks epic! I always see a link to share art. I'd love to see a video one day highlighting those that have sent inthere art work. Be sweet to see what each have come up with.
@@gurratell7326 i agree that you can become good with lots of practice but some people were born artist. They just have it in thier blood. They can make works of art like 2nd nature.
Love the amount of detail you can cram into your projects. It looks amazing. I haven't seen the new movie yet but I have to admit so far that I do like the original look of Orlock better than the new style. Great work though 👍🏼☺️
Happy New Year!! What better way to ring in the new year than with Count Orlok lol. Let me know what you think of him and who or what you want to see me make this year! Thank you for being here ❤
Are you gonna make a video where you showcase the sculptures you made in 2024?
Penguin from Batman and other villains
Mutant toys from Toy Story
Master xox from sidekick
Judge doom

@costealucia5357 National hero? Did he impale people?
I’m glad mustache was in the movie. The image of it soaked in blood stuck with me.
Me when i drink anything
He’s definitely one of your best sculpts. Seriously awesome.

No, not really. The new design is basically a zombie cossack.
@@samiamtheman7379 he might not be described as a zombie, but folk european vampired are very zombie like in appearence. They look closer to zombies than like twilight vampires
Count Orlok in this movie looks as Vlad the Impaler.. take a look
@@heroesytumbas which is how folk vampires are. And he is an eastern nobleman, not James Bond, of course it's appropriate to look cossack.
This has to be one of my favorites so far . You put so many details in this project, and it just looks epic!
I loved the movie, especially the cinematography, it was very intense. Your Count Orlok looks amazing!
You've gotten sooo much better at sculpting over the years. It's awesome to see the difference from when you first started making videos to now. Wow.

All those details really make Count Orlok! I appreciate it and the dedication you had to making him!
Happy happy New Year 🎊 glad you’re back.
Happy New Year! Thank you for being here!
HNY! The Count is quite captivating and unsettling. I love the detailed trim. That texture mat was a good find.
Great interpretation of the traditional Cossack coat. Those extra-long sleeves were usually sewn closed and used as extra deep pockets. Fantastic sculpt.
I think he’s supposed to dressed as a Hungarian nobleman
Old and new Orlok is iconic creature.Great work Ant,as always!

Stunning! I like the monochromatic look. The Orlok character from this version is growing on me. I love the costume.
While I realise that this was just an ad for the super poker I must say that that head was a great piece of work. All the best.
You have outdone yourself! The face and details are amazing.
Amazing detail! His face looks so lifelike (or should I say deathlike). Great job!!
Perfection as always, been missing you videos glad your back

Amazing work! I can't wait to see the movie now.
In Romania we call creatures like count orlok strigoi (dead decaing corpses that kills in the midle of the night)
Yooo this Count Orlock sculpture is dope aff 🔥🔥🔥 And the Nosferatu movie is incredible!
Absolutely loved watching every step and technique! The results are terrifying, and terrific!
Your attention to detail still amazes me!
Happy New Year! :)
Even without the vampire thing he looks like an unpleasant individual to be around. Very creepy

Wow that came out fantastic you just keep getting better and better my friend👍
Fantastic way to start the New Year...Bravo!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
This one came out amazing! Somethin about the monochromatic look with all that texture really makes this 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It would be interesting to see your take on the original count Orlok from the 1924 silent movie!
TH-cam stopped giving me notifications and stopped putting your videos in my feed. I thought you quit or took a break. Man I've got some catching up to do. Glad you're still making great sculptures. ❤
Your Count Orlok not only looks fantastic, I always learn so much from your videos about technique, especially painting technology.
Incredible the level of detail. Must have a art degree.

Awesome. Very good detail. I like your work.
Gorgeous and sinister, what an amazing talent you have. I'd love to see it more colorful, though.
You are so lucky that you were given a god given talent like that.
Beautiful work brother.
Yes he's really good at what he does, but it's not really about talent, it's about practice, practice and a LOT of practice :)
