Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an upcoming open-world action-adventure video game based on James Cameron's Avatar film series. The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment and will be published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna in 2023 or 2024.

No news under the sun, the footage shown here is NOT in-game footage, but is directly from the movies. As it stands now, no one can say anything about this game with any certainty.
This world and trailer reminds me just like Anthem.

I've been in this for thirty years now and I love the gaming industry. I've had every console since 1989. I just don't understand why not every game developer gives you the opportunity to decide for yourself whether you want to play a female or male character. Whether you want to play in the first person perspective or in the Third Pearson perspective. Especially when a game is called open world, that should be possible nowadays. A first person game is just too impersonal for me. When I play a shooter like Call of duty, it's fun. But a world event like Avatar, I have no understanding for that.

Finally PS5 generation game became next generation game if this video footage is rendered in realtime. I've been always thinking what's the differnce between ps4 and ps5 generationg games in visual.
It's all movie excerpts, there exists no footage from the real game. If you watch the Ubisoft trailer(s), it says "only movie footage shown". My gut feeling tells me it'll be a big disappointment graphics wise relative to the movie.

Their English was almost as bad as mine. Personally, I would have picked the ones with the best English, not the ones responsible for each area of expertise. It´s just a script anyway.
