Caitlin's shoes are going to be unique, not a copy of anybody else's shoe.

They can't even sell tickets. What makes u think any company want to make shoes for players who can't even sell tickets.

The Sabrinas do sell though…and the Hornets are next to last in attendance while Lamelo has one of the top 5 selling signatures in the league. Every family can’t go to games, every kid wears shoes

Don’t be surprised if Caitlin gets a signature shoe before Arike or a’ja. Also, please stop with this narrative that the majority of the league is people of color but Nike only gives signature shoes to the white women. I could make the argument that it’s unfair that the majority of the league is people of color and that they need to include more white people. Of course, you would respond that it’s based on performance.
Well Nike is a business and Caitlin is the hottest thing out right now. They are in the business of making money and would see a return on their investment immediately.

I’m addressing what’s being said before it becomes a thing, I literally saw a whole think piece on IG about it and I’m telling Nike how to crush it, and it’s not a narrative - the percentage is the percentage. Statistics aren’t narratives. It’s data. You making an argument about what should be is an argument for argument’s sake. It’s not about how I would respond, it just IS about performance - for the most part (good locker room vets that won’t play over , talented young washouts that could potentially)
That has no correlation to this. I’m showing you the process that Nike athletes go through before they get their signature, nothing more nothing less. You’re arguing about what, I’m not sure. You think they didn’t feel the same about Sabrina when they signed her, before they knew a bigger star was otw in CC? She still got a GT Cut first while the sig was developed. Lebron got a Zoom Soldier first. Wemby, I showed his GT. Not a sig, a PE. He’s a signature athlete though. Signatures take time to make

Also, none of the WNBA players have the Caitlin, Lebron, Wemby financial effect- true. But what do we (yes we with my half of a share lol) say when they point out Delle Donne. From a business/performance perspective, she only has 400,000 followers on IG and isn’t really a needle-mover. Ppl will say you still gave her one after a cpl of years of getting PEs that didn’t really fly off of shelves, she didnt win more on the court, Caitlin‘s understandable, what’s the reasoning here? And idk if there’s an answer that doesn’t cost us more than just following the pattern they’ve set. Caitlin can sell out that $190 GT Cut 3 that I posted the link to that’s sitting in all sizes, game 1. No quicker ROI than that
