"Back Door Man" was written by Willie Dixon and recorded by Howlin' Wolf in 1960. Of course, you got around to that. Like how you do your research after the song plays. No one else really does that.
One of my favorites! The Doors are part of the soundtrack of my teen years! We "little girls" couldn't get enough of Jim Morrison lol! Listen to Howlin Wolf too..awesome!
I'm of that generation, my girl friends and I thought Jim was very good looking and sexy, especially when he wore leather, swoon. Jim Morrison and a young Robbie Robertson (The Band) the 2 best looking rock and roll stars, and great songwriters as well.
I love Jim Morrison’s voice, he had a lot of great songs also. Jim had a girlfriend in California that he was in love with, not sure if he was with a lot of women, he was always higher than his fire.😂 women were after him though!👍💜
Dude, I remember a night in the '70s when my date's mother came home unexpectedly, forcing me to have to stand in a bedroom closet until mama went to sleep, which was several hours. So glad I finally got all that out of my system. One can think now. Philosophize. Listen to TH-cam channels.
The Doors...My favorite band... "Backdoor man"...Man, that was they way on this H.Wolf's iconic song! Anyway, i am from Serbia 🇷🇸, and i love your reaction!❤ Keep on breaking through The Doors!😊
For those who don’t know, In Southern culture, the phrase "back-door man" refers to a man having an affair with a married woman, using the back door as an exit before the husband comes home.
Led Zeppelin did a few Willie Dixon songs on their first album and took credit for writing them. Willie sued them for not giving him credit for writing them. Willie won Zeppelin lost.

Willie Dixon wrote one helluva-lot of blues masterpieces! Do" Howlin Wolf" London album, many great English rockers on it! No one Howl's like Wolf!

This cover and "Five To ONE" are basically the same rhythm and usually played together in concert.
Thanks Shawn!! May I suggest checking out Howlin Wolf and Willie Dixon. Bluesmen were part of the foundation of the good ole 70's rock music.

You never stop learning.
I have assumed for 40 years that,
The husband goes to work in the morning while the Sancho slips in through the backdoor!?!?

"The Blues Project" live version at the Cafe Au Go Go from '65 is way better.
Just listened to their version. Nope!
