I'm not a barstarzz guy but I do love BODY WEIGHT TRAINING, I think its more functional, fun and challenging. However I do still do old school weights and always will, but for now my personal goal is bar muscle ups and the human flag....... I'm not going to mention the P word!
Super excited to be doing calisthenics again, and to have this gym set in my front yard is so handy. I've got heaps of work to do to get where want to be, but no matter where you are at, as long as you improve from where YOU were yesterday, then its all good!
I always wanted a home calisthenics gym so I searched TH-cam and found this awesome video • How to make a Barstarz... - awesome cheers bro! bodyweight training

You need more bracing. Its moving significantly doing your muscleup. Look on the left side using your house as a reference. Also consider dips using a squat rack type configuration where you use two barbell bars at whatever height you want and whatever width you want. Another idea is to have 2 adjustable height hand platforms so doing dips with flat hands feels very, very good and allows for a huge variety of hand positions, each hitting a little different muscle group. Or use that platform for a dumbbell for a different grip for your dips. This way you can change the angle hugely.

I'm about to make a pull up bar like this. I live in Florida where the dirt is pretty much wet sand most of the time. On a freestanding pull up bar do you think the foam would be strong enough so I can run, jump and swing from the bar. I'm thinking of an 8 foot height and 3 feet underground. I might fill the holes around the pole with rocks and then pouring the foam in for better support. What do you think? thanks

gstoe hum hard to say, but here our ground is very hard..... I used the mix because I'm renting here, so when I vacate I can easily take the gym down however, if It was my house I would use concrete

This is awesome man! But insted of that plastic sh*t you should have used concrete cause' it's better for the soil, nature and mostly your health.

Cheers bro, I used the foam stuff because I was renting and if I had of used concrete it would be extremely hard to remove the poles once my lease was up ! With the foam filler it was really easy to pull the poles out
