its weird how most ppl think that the evzones raise the flag in acropoli. when in fact its the communications army school that raises the flag daily and the enzones have this service only in weekends. at least it was like that when i served
Τρελέ μου δεν μας νοιάζει ποιός είναι που υψώνει τη σημαία, αρκεί που κυματίζει στον αρχαίο βράχο περίφανη, τι σημασία έχει αν ήταν εύζονας ή στρατιώτης του πεζικού ή του μηχανικού ή μεταβιβάσεων ή του τάγματος υλικού πολέμου. Και εκεί θα τα χαλάσουμε?
I was lucky enough to watch them marching down the Acropoli with the flag during my second visit. I was busy taking picture, suddenly they march down hill and I didn't know what happen back then. Is it ok to take selfie with them with permission? I dare not try :)
