Once a soldier(eg Infantry,guardsman) passes the Q-Course, will he earn the Special Forces Tab and Ranger tab together? I’m assuming small unit tactics etc is already embedded in the Q-course. If not, a qualified operator has to attend ranger course to earn the tab?
@@___Danny___ Replying to both actually. It depends on which Generals you are talking about. There are some Generals whose background are from those units and thus went through the same shit. For example the Head of Commando (or NDU, JSF) would have to have those experiences since in those communities, they usually walk the talk. Some of those commanders do get promoted to BG and get posted "out" to lead other units/departments/etc.
@@___Danny___ Just a fyi, before getting into the Commando unit, they (SOTAC) conduct some form of IQ/Personality test, among many other tests. Generally speaking, people in there would be above average intelligences.
Why never show more of the tekan sessions? Change parade, tornado in the bunks, drill tekan, turn out at 3am in the morning. Worm crawl... Its these tekan sessions that will break a person mentally.
Our neighbours and other armed forces all over the world watch the way the SOTF guys train.. confirm laugh. So relaxing. Jialat.. other armed forces trained better in extreme and tough conditions..
SOTF is tried and tested. Remember what happened on 26 Mar 1991? This one is just the selection only, not the actual. Gotta give them credit for having the guts to go through the course. At least we don’t see these guys execute hostages in a cinema or torture and kill journalists
They know and we know that these videos only make up to 1% of what they went through for the selection. The episodes were literally skipped weeks in advance due to opsec reasons. Also this troopers have been deployed to overseas to countries like Afghanistan and Iraq for operations as well.

Taking water is to see if ur body is still able to dissipate the heat by sweating. Not simply jus drink water and take temperature. Drinking water and wait for awhile before taking temperature is a way of seeing if ur body is still able to cool itself. Don't comment if u really don understand the rationale behind it.
Won't drop as fast just by drinking water if you really have heat exhaustion. Yes, the temperature may drop after drinking water, the concern is the rate of the temperature dropping. No it's not a stupid logic. A stupid logic is when you make things looks like not a corcernable matter when it actually is.

Their QC dropout rate is very high. The guys that make it are really cream of the crop.

No, Ranger course is separate course. They will be required to take the Ranger course after passing SFQC.
