The Xenons graphics never rocked me; they felt like they - even with the legendary palette skills - came up against a hard limit when they had to be restricted to the 16 of the ST. I don't know what it is, but the 16-bit generation should in theory have looked very nice with 16 free colours on-screen, but somehow didn't and really needed 16 more to get over a bump. All very much IMNSHO.

Very nice series, don't know how I missed it until now. I had no experience with an Amiga back in the days so it's nice to see what games are worth trying out. I set up a Raspberry Pi with Amiga emulator and thousands of games and demos so it's hard to chose games to try out apart from ones I played on the C64. Now I have a few new candidates. 😄
