Anthony Wilson does not play fast but his phrasing is top notch.. He squeezes a tone out of every note with determined phasing.. A great underrated jazz guitarist..
Also, appreciate you tackling this, mistakes and all, shows a good path to learning a tune like this. Would definitely like to see you do some more of these! How about a Les Paul tune…he’s got a lot of live recordings from his Iridium Club gigs.
Please make more such videos...i love jazz but i fail to analyse it even when i wish to...the form... A section... second A...the progression and the detailed solo analysis is the kind of stuff a lot of people would like to learn and i remember rick beato analysis some jazz classics...but this is amazing... thanks from India ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your skills And your process, absolutely incredible! And thank you for sharing Diana Krall in her band that was new to me and absolutely amazing
Diana Krall = perfect Date Night music 🙂 Anthony Wilson is such a great guitar player, I love all of his work with Diana. If you haven't listened to him much Rotem, you would like him. He has solo work as well and has played with Jeff Goldblum in his Jazz projects. Thank you for this video!
Your wife has good taste in music. I have loved Dianna Krall’s music along time now. I first heard her play in the early 90s.. The tune she played captured the jazz in me.. Body and Soul.. an old standard, but she did it with such emotion that I after became a huge follower of her music from then on.. I have been following her journey since then.. Check out an old ( sung by all the great females) standard.. Autumn in New York.. some of her latest tunes.. also some great guitar work too..
"The song "The Frim-Fram Sauce" was made famous by the late and great jazz singer Nat "King" Cole. There's no profound metaphor within the lyrics you should be searching for. It's simply an expression for the urgent need of this imaginary sauce"
I refuse to believe that you are a jazz musician and have only now heard about Diana Krall. Or this song for that matter. 😂. A wonderful video though, do more jazz stuff, less tiny desk 2 chords stuff!
Loved that you covered this song with Diana Krall. Please do more from her and her guys! They swing hard!
Diana Krall is such a wonderful talent!

He can play fast, but picks his moments. He was my guitar teacher in college.

Anthony Wilson truly is killing, he is really a master of the vocabulary for this straight ahead swinging sound

really great to see your process from scratch, thanks!
Thanks for reminding me about Anthony Wilson!
He's so good!!

Both of you are awesome.
I've been listening to Krall for years when she first got people's attention.
That guitar solo starts with 3 descending tri-tones, so the 3rd note is an octave below the 1st note. Cool. I’m stealing that. 🤭
I just love Diana Krall, your face expresses how I feel when I am listening to a delicious solo
Rotem you are so inspiring. 🙏 For all these videos and inspiration
Ella and Louis have a great recording from 1946 - great tune

We saw Anthony Wilson at a house concert in Los Angeles earlier this year. He was great!
Anyone else notice the bridge is the same chord structure as Walking In A Winter Wonderland?
There's so much here I barely understand but I love it.
Muy buen contenido
fantastic!
and I thought that Rick Beato knew music theory. This is crazy.
Thank youu...❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Wondering whats the most impressive … you’re hearing or you’re playing.
I'd like to understand what is going on in Jim Hall song Careful...
Hmmmmmm …. It’s a little to….hmmmmm….. nervous…….
Do you have a video demonstrating your guitar? Showing the model, and any mods and add ons like those rubber bands? Thank you!
Yes I actually created one a while ago: th-cam.com/video/1qhEgoMFIS0/w-d-xo.html. Hope it helps!
they asked Diana Krall what Frim Fam Sauce and Chifafa mean, she said, "İt's all about sex."
Great tune! Originally done by Nat King Cole...
What does "Frim fram sauce" mean? (Rotem)....isnt it slang for something naughty?...I think the whole song is about that(?)
Before I watch this video, I just want to answer the title question.
Yes, she is that amazing. In every way. Brilliant jazz musician of our era.

Nice one, even if a little confusing…

As for the meaning of the song, when asked by William Safire. Diana Krall replied “it’s all about sex”😮
