If the sound through the medium of video is any where near accurate, this is a voice that should have a fine career....probably in Europe where the pay is better and the opportunities greater ( more opera houses)...and that's a bit of a shame that one in US may not have a chance to see this singer "live"

@sarahcasasola9492 :: No, not always. Rossini wrote some very formidable roles for mezzo-sopranos and contraltos. The texture of their voices are some of the highest points in opera. If sopranos are going to sing mezzo-soprano roles, they should have a semblance of that lower-range quality ; ok, if not, at least they shouldn't sound like immature girls. This singer was too extreme in lightness to really appreciate the aria. It's just my opinionated opinion.
