Omg omg omg sister, Jazakallahu kheyran from the bottom of my heart. I was stuck and something clicked for me that you said. Subhanallah. I’m a newish mom have 3 kids aged (10 month, 2 years and just turned 4 today) kids and I’ve been trying to somewhat be consistent in sitting with them and teaching them. But I was stuck for the last 2 weeks..I start then stop, start and stop. And your first point about paying attention to myself and what I need to NOT BE STRESSED SO THAT I can sit with my kids and teach was like the light bulb 😭 sometimes I’m feeling like headless chicken running from when I wake up till I put the kids to bed. Listening to this before I’m even married. I love to try my best to plan ahead of time and I would definitely love to homeschool my children. I was homeschooled until 4th grade.

I have already began putting your tips to practice, alongside some advice from another video of yours, and grounding myself in the rules of thumb from Qur'an, Sunnah and lifestyle tips in general, it'll form part of my new motherhood guidelines

im a mother of very young kids without any support… im also homeschooling mother…. older is just 6 now he is on the way to finish juz amma now alhamdulillah ❤… but i can’t educate thrm apart from islamic and quranjc education…. im made my 6 and 4 years to read and memories quran.. but im alw
May Allah reward you for your efforts and make it easy to teach your children ❤️
As long as you teach them how to read, you will be opening lots of doors to any type of knowledge insha'Allah and as long as you maintain your natural curiousity about the world, you can learn right along side of them.

May Allah make it easy on you sister! What specific difficulties are you having? How old are the kids? Usually slowing down and focusing on just the basics helps us over the rough patches and of course good self care and boundaries for the mom are of utmost importance!
