It so interesting hearing the cost of booths and lengthes of markets all around. I'm in Dallas and an average booth is $100-175 for 6 hrs. We do have some that are 4 hrs for $50-75 but I notice I don't do well at those. I'm a bookbinder and make handmade journals, notebooks and sketchbooks. Love your videos! Thats exciting that Ethan got to join this go round.
How are markets in Dallas? There are a ton of markets to do here that are under $100 and yeah the results of those are up in the air, the ones I've done over $100 are also hit and miss. Like Milk Mart when I did that one it's $125 but I made a lot at that one and Mezzo Market is $115 and I only made like $400 there so I don't know what the deal is lol. I did that one event in November that was $200 and I made $200 and it was only 3 hours so that was annoying lol. I just found you on Instagram your work is beautiful!! Thank you so much for your support!!
Have you ever thought of making scrunchies? You can put them on the spinning thing with the key fobs. It might help with the fobs flying off but on the other hand it might make it difficult for people to see the fobs...
I have made scrunchies in the past! I've not made new ones in a while but maybe I'll revisit making them now that I have a better way to display them! I used to put them on the gridwall but didn't have a good place to put them after I added the hats/tumblers!
I love your keychain display for windy events I put those little sewing clips on they are transparent and you can't tell from a distance but it definitely keeps items in check
That's a good idea! I've decided since I'm starting to bring my table again to bring a tabletop keychain display instead so I don't feel pressured to fill it all up lol
I stopped applying for any events hosted by orangeboy (we sell, she sells (his wife's), tpd, plant nerd etc) as they seem to be extremely picky and cliquey. Have tried a few times for different ones they host and I can never get in. Also, back in the day before the current pop up scene when it was more craft fairs time frames were 6-8 hours. It's now....after 2020...that they have become 3-5 hrs.
I'm sorry you've had that experience with them! I've only had really positive interactions with both Grant and Jaslin so it's unfortunate you feel that way. I do like longer markets it makes me feel like I got my money's worth lol but it can be really tiring!
lol, I was at the other street, next time I'll sign up for this street. and yes, it really should be a shorter market. 12-4 is where I made all of my transactions. Add to the fact that I have to work parking. yeah, shorter is better.
I should've gone and checked out the other side I don't know why I didn't do that! I like being able to park in that parking garage that's close by but my parking was like $20!!!
I try to bring two of each size for each design if I have that many lol. I'm a little low on inventory right now so some designs are more sparse than others. For the pullovers I'm trying to bring as many as possible because I'm trying to clear them out for tanks and other warm weather apparel as it starts to get really warm here!
I live in Orlando. Would be amazing to bump into you someday. Also where do you apply and see upcoming markets? I’m new to the game and would love to know
I'm sure we will sometime! I'm going to be making a video on how I find markets probably in the next week or so that will have lots of information but a good way to start is you can go to my Instagram and look at the different markets I'm following and that will pretty much be a huge list of different markets around Orlando :)
Do you sell alot of your key wristlets? Mine look just like yours, but they don't sell. I'm in WI. Personally, I think they are really cute. I have one on my key chain and I get compliments on them. I don't get it. You have really cute shirts.
I sell a few here & there at markets! I need to list them on my website I think they would do well there. I've only had them for a few markets so I don't have a ton of data on it lol. I think they are so cute too!! I have had people ask what they are for so maybe some people just don't know the use? I love them though!!!

@@googoogoods I still use them for anything I hang it also makes packing up so much easier!
I also use baskets for my keychains, when it is windy.
I'm going to start bringing baskets for a few items too that's a good idea I'll bring some along!
Have ever thought about Tallahassee Market Days? It is held in December.
So sorry for the late reply!! It definitely sounds fun but Tallahassee would be like 4.5 hours from me and that would be a longgg day or weekend lol
@@googoogoods I do understand!

❤ We have the tabletop spinner for out keyfobs and keychains and it works and looks great. 🥰 You had a good turnout though for one day. :)
I used the new spinner at my last event and I liked it! I got compliments on it lol
@@googoogoods yay !!!! 🎉
