Well what a change yesterday I was telling the other half how lovely the weather was and now look at it ,oh well hope it’s better in four weeks when we come over for a visit,will see if we can get to Whitby 😊
On one of my visits to Whitby I visited the museum. I saw a tiny model of a haberdashery shop. Everything was to scale. It was exquisite. I believe that a man had made it in memory of his wife. Does anyone know anything more about it? Is it still on display?
Always wondered why you didn't ride the boats, I must admit I adore them, any excuse for another boat ride especially the Bark Endeavour which we fondly call 'The Bouncy Boat'. Pity folk abandon their crabbing lines, I had the same crabbing gear for years as a kid. Hope the chap who fell off the bridge recovers with a tale to tell. Fudge !
We've hardly had any rain today in Pickering, suprised how bad it was in Whitby. It's disgraceful to leave all that rubbish behind, there's no excuse when there's a specific bin there, what's wrong with people! 🤬
Complaint time!!! We have just had a week in a B&B farm Pickering but spent most days in Whitby, where were you we never saw you nor did we find a wrist band…….i expect you were hiding from us in Batley……!!, we even ate at Angel fish caff which was quite good, however we also had some at the fox & Rabbit & they were much better, that is in our opinion.. we will be back in June so beware!!!!!

My granddaughters love the kiddies corner. We fish for crabs for hours on end!

His name was Barry and he lived in supported accommodation but had to go into care a couple of years or so back.
I haven't seen him in a long time.
