Story smaller balloon, lots more yarn and let air out of balloon slowly by snipping at knot.
We made these but we didn't roll them in glue we took a paint brush and put some extra just on the yarn contact area after the yarn had been rolled in glue. It turned out great. The reason yours didn't work is when you roll it in the glue it forms a much tighter bond with the balloon so when you pop the balloon it pulls on the glue which pulls on the yarn

Hilarious 😂! Lola you rock with the glue! Your accents. lol! I have made those as Easter, those directions were not good. I had to wrap the yarn over balloon so no balloon showing. what a mess with glue!
We tried that and ours turned out the exact same way! I was devastated!

Hi holderness family! I love your videos so much. I am a child and some of your parodies I can relate to. Especially slime after slime. I love how you don't act like a perfect family. I’ve actually done this before, and it worked perfect for me, but you have to add corn starch to the glue and water mixture.

I tried this with water balloons and had a similar result with yarn/wool. It stuck to the balloons. When I used cotton string, however, they worked beautifully.
I love yarn balls. I know someone who makes them. They are beautiful.
Also, a good song for this project is "DIY yarn and glue, it's so much fun to do. DIY yarn and glue, it's so much fun, woo hoo!"(to the tune of "Tape and Glue".

It was pretty disgusting (the gooey glue).... I would probably be doing the same thing as Penn....
I’ve done this project with my students before. We made yarn ball pumpkins for Halloween. You just needed more yarn and you have to unstick the yarn from the balloon before you pop it.
I used to do this all the time and it worked I think you need more yarn 🐶

@@Ellasnaps you hear the nuances of each dialect because you are british, we hear ohh faincee (fancy in southern) accents lol I watch british daytime panel comedy shows often and scouse sounds bad to me now, but it didn't always lol and it's still hard to tell welsh from London tbh, but I have been told the same thing about US accents to Brits, most of us sound the same unless there is a strong southern twang or boston or ny accent

Main error: glue to water ratio. It works if the glue is thin and runny like wallpaper paper paste.

I did these with my preschool class. The ones that used a LOT of yarn turned out well. But most of them turned out like yours.

I did these once, I used mog pog instead of four and they turned out great! Only thing that went wrong was they weren’t balls because the balloons where to big

I did this and it worked... You need to use smaller balloons and friendship bracelet yarn... With ONLY GLUE NO WATER!

If u poke a hole in the glue bottle and pull the yarn through it is not messy and a lot more simple. And put a lot of yarn around the balloon.😛

I’ve done this, and you need to use more water. That’s why the yarn stuck when you popped the balloons. Have to say Failed It, but it was a good try.

It is best to use smaller balloons and just as much yarn
I don't hate glue but I don't like to touch it, either. I always squeeze it out of a tube. No gluey hands here.

You forgot to add lard on the balloon side of the yarn

If you disconnect the balloon from the yarn before you pop it, it will not pull in the yarn. Just a thought.

if you use water balloons it is a lot easier to pop
I think that you should make balloons 🎈 smaller and wrap the balloons so much that none is showing
