If you want to eat them after you color them, use whipped cream. Works just as well.
If you'd used cool whip instead of shave cream you get the same effect without worrying about shave cream getting in the egg.
Coloring eggs with foods and onion shells is very common where I live. They turn out beautiful, it’s much easier plus they are food safe.
Did you know you can do the same thing with whipped cream and then the eggs are edible

Love doing this with kids. If you want to eat them, you can also used whipped cream instead of shaving cream since the shaving cream can leave a slight smell/taste.
Well, they sat in vinegar... that will leave taste/ smell behind
If we did this at my house with my kids that gorgeous island would be covers in shaving cream.
You can also do this without shaving foam, then u can eat them. Plus it also dyes the egg inside very cool for the kids.

Holder mess family is awesome to watch! You can use Barbersol shaving cream n food coloring make swirls n different designs lay thick art work paper on top gently then wipe off it off with paper towel. It's been many many yrs since I done it. So look it up.

Egg shells are porous, so you probably shouldn't eat the eggs after you dyed them in shaving cream. If you want to eat them, use whipped cream/cool whip instead.
You should make gummies! Just take a mold and put gelatin and food coloring in it!
You should try the whole family make the hardest recipe for slime

I've actually seen a women do this on her ceramic pieces, the effects she got where amazing.
Not a bad idea. Use round rock then clear coat them.

we have done this before too, and it is a big mess, but fun!! and you do need to use a lot of food coloring to get them to look cool. we used up all of mine to paint snow 3 weeks ago, so I'll have to restock my supply for easter! what was the vinegar for in the beginning? ?

I don't know how I've missed your channel! I just found it and love, love love it!
I've been dying my pet birds eggs (after they've dried out) using this method. Afterwards, I mount the smaller eggs in a frame and give a light spray of varnish to set the color. The larger eggs I spray before mounting.

You could probably try this technique on larger chicken eggs, but I'd advise you blow them out by making holes on the end of the egg shell. The egg contents can be used for other recipes (right away of course.) Be sure to rinse out the shell & dry completely before dying. After dying you can apply beads, charms, over the holes on the ends of the shell, prior to mounting.

That’s cool that it worked, I saw one where they used Cool Whip topping for it, instead of the shaving cream not sure if that would work but I guess if you have Littles then they could eat it and you wouldn’t be afraid of them eating it versus the saving cream, an saying no don’t eat it.... you can give that a try an see if it works next time.... 💕🤗
