I did an ornament wreath with a wire hanger. You bend the hanger into a circle and string the ornaments on. Super simple, and took less than one tub of ornaments
It can still be saved! All you need is tinsel garland(all the same color) twist and wined it between the ornaments. It will fill in the spots and hold the ornaments in place. I make and sell lots of crafts, including ornament wreaths, so I just want to say great job!
omg well u succeeded in making people laugh and gave a smile to those watching ty it was so much fun to watch u guys I loved the song too and loved the enthusiasm
I don't have mine out of storage but I used floral picks thru the ornament hanger to stick in the pool noodles and it works better, I also just used dollar store ornaments as well.
Scrap the pool noodles and get a giant floral styrofoam wreath - then use the wire method to attach. That will hold the circle form better. Also, if you have bare spots, add pretty Christmas crafting ribbon to cover it and glue it in place - blamo, bald spots no longer visible.
You should have used an actual wire wreath form or a hard foam wreath form. I think they have them at Michael's. Next time use smaller balls and shop at dollar tree.
😂😂 I rewhined and watched Penn run like 5× GREAT FORM for bare feet?? Lol Also the dumping the boyfriend cuz can't fix him analogy...ive never felt something more in my soul then that statement LMAO. Too true!!! The wreath looks great ladies. I for sure *WILL* *NOT* try this at home😉
Omg love you guys! Just a tip hot glue doesn’t stick to glass, rubber, and some other materials so hope that will help for next time. Also maybe next time use a different glue. Maybe gorilla glue? Anyway you guys are awesome!!
I’d like to see a 2021 rehash but instead of glue, string the ornaments onto nylon line and wrap the ornaments on. Even bald areas could be filled in later by tying on the extra ornaments with more nylon line-it would tuck in invisibly I think. And the line would be more secure than glue for storage.
And 4:41 why do you ou look so terrified Kim?? You and your DIWife got this!💪🎄✌❤ 😂 and Penn, go with the sweater and the socks!!! 🎄Awesome song!! Such a great guy!!😂👍
This is definitely the kind of thing that it is almost always going to be cheaper and better to buy at Target already made and then make some adjustments to.
What a wonderful hubby cheering them up... and dont worry about the cost of the balls save them for another DIY.... seriously I cant count how many times I started a DIY and it was good in therory but not in reality and turned around on another DIY and was like what can I use..... light bulb hey I got those balls or strings or etc....
OMG, you should do a hanger snowflake! There's videos on how to do it. The outcome looks beautiful, and NO HOT GLUE(!) and everything can be bought at the Dollar store, also be careful which video you follow, some get very complicated and expensive, I'm just saying.
Maybe for next time, you guys can just poke the hooks from the ornaments into the pool noodles instead of using the glue sticks and/or the glue gun or the floral wire. That would make things easier and cut the cost down a good bit. But this still looked really cool and unique :) Good idea for a craft!! :)
Oh my goodness...too much hilarity from Penn. What a great guy he is... Why not instead of the pool noodles use the styrofoam white wreaths you can find in craft stores? Are all of the internet vids using pool noodles?
I don't know how to feel about this. Wrapping some tinsel streamers around the ball covered 'wreath' would maybe cover the noodles fully... assuming anyone is inspired to try it.
Buy the red pool noodles wrap white duct tape to make stripe then put a wire hanger inside shape and bend the neck to make a candy cane! Super easy and cute for Christmas craft.
I made one of these years ago using a metal wreath frame, glass ornaments, and hot glue gun. It looked beautiful. I hung it on the inside of an exterior door. As it got cold outside and cooled the glue, all the ornaments fell off in about 3 big chunks. HUGE waste of time and effort!
Confession. My adhd totally have a crush on Penns adhd. The rest of him is highly fascinating to, but my crazy likes his kind of crazy. I feel lke I've found my tribe, and Penn is like the chief of that tribe. 😁
I think that the ornaments would've stuck better if they would've just stuck them in using the metal hooks at the end of the ornaments. If they would've done that, there wouldn't've been a need for the hot glue gun or glue sticks.
When I heard Monica say "pool noodles," I knew that was the first mistake.

I”m with Penn, you guys get an A for effort!!! Thanks for sharing! 💕
Attach a hula hoop for shape and some ribbon wistfully wrapped could hid bald spots.
and that adds more cost , lmao
@@pattykittenguru8296 True, but I figure if you are in $200 deep what's $10 to make it something you love?
@@truneilson Hahahaha
I thought about a hula hoop, but I think they're too flimsy also. There needs to be something stiffer that won't bend under weight.
I made one with a hula hoop and old ornaments that we already had. 5 years and still going strong in the Australian heat!! ☺️
Y’all should make a video of going and getting you Christmas tree.
This is fantastic lol 😂 thank you for the smiles 🎄
At least your not melting crayons in ornaments this year! 🙏😉And I love this series! Awesome video!!!✌❤

Penn and Kim are just the cutest!
Love the video.
You guys are so awesome and inspiring!
Penn's song was the best! 😄
I think some hot glue guns have a heat Monitor wear you can adjust how hot it is made for projects with balloons and things that melt
Bring it back out at easter and you guys are on to a winner 😂😂
Love the inspirational interlude! You got this ladies! It’s a learning project.
"You tried so hard though!" Man... Penn sounds like my husband!
I think if you add a hula hoop for structure on the inside it would make for a more stable shape.
“I’m noticing a high volume…of balls…in this room.” 2:50
You should have used an actual wire wreath form or a hard foam wreath form. I think they have them at Michael's. Next time use smaller balls and shop at dollar tree.
I don’t want balls on my noodle, Ho Ho Ho 😂
I used wire hangers and dollar tree ornaments and it turned out awesome!
You all are my favourite throuple! Love this series so much 😁
Haha 😂 you all always make us laugh!! Haha you guys did your best 🤣 the neighbors are going to be jealous 😂
😂😂 I rewhined and watched Penn run like 5× GREAT FORM for bare feet?? Lol

Merry Christmas! Kim where did you find your red sweater?
Great song! I now want to make a decoration!
Omg love you guys! Just a tip hot glue doesn’t stick to glass, rubber, and some other materials so hope that will help for next time. Also maybe next time use a different glue. Maybe gorilla glue? Anyway you guys are awesome!!
That song was great. Did you repurpose these?
Penn was hilarious and so supportive 😊

Pena’s serenade was the best part.
Pena?
@@maddiearnold1308 auto correct!?
Attach it to a large wreath form and wrap it with some deco mesh ribbon to fill in the gaps. Voila! Hee hee!
Hallmark needs to hire these guys for a bit part in a movie
And 4:41 why do you ou look so terrified Kim?? You and your DIWife got this!💪🎄✌❤ 😂 and Penn, go with the sweater and the socks!!! 🎄Awesome song!! Such a great guy!!😂👍
You can buy a foam wreath at Michael’s, Joann’s, and basically any craft store.
It could work as an easter egg. :)
This is definitely the kind of thing that it is almost always going to be cheaper and better to buy at Target already made and then make some adjustments to.
I bet this was a very big Christmess!!🤣🤣
This looks really funny I can’t wait!! 😋
Use a floral foam wreath instead of pool noodles. That takes care of the structure
Hello Kim,
Love your red sweater? Where is your sweater from?
What a wonderful hubby cheering them up... and dont worry about the cost of the balls save them for another DIY.... seriously I cant count how many times I started a DIY and it was good in therory but not in reality and turned around on another DIY and was like what can I use..... light bulb hey I got those balls or strings or etc....
I liked the one Penn found on amazon. For 39$
Lisa Cubbon that was only a light up green wreath. Not an ornament one. You can buy this type smaller for under $40.
Omgosh, Penn, you are so funny!!!!!!
Can you do the boys vs girls Christmas reindeer ring toss challenge
Augustus Green thats a great idea! That would be really cool!! 🦌
You should have bought a giant wire frame for this project. It would have been so much easier.
You need a low heat glue gun. It won't melt things and it saves your fingers!
Make a smaller wreath. MUCH smaller. 😂🤣
Better with longer noodles bought during the summer clearance and ornaments from the DT
I’ve made one! Do not hang it on a door 😬 mine exploded
Love it!
Diwives Is so funny 😂!
Isabella Thompson omg I’m not the only one watching this when it’s not even close to Christmas but loves it anyways
DIWives makes me so happy 😂❤️
I think you should rename this project the "Easter egg wreath" 😉 I did laugh alot at yours & Monica expense. Sorry not sorry. Very fun video.
You could have tried one end of wire and thread them all through until you can wrap it around the whole thing then use Garland to cover bald spots
I love them what q loving family.
use a hanger instead of the pool noodle... i make these as presents every year
OMG, you should do a hanger snowflake! There's videos on how to do it. The outcome looks beautiful, and NO HOT GLUE(!) and everything can be bought at the Dollar store, also be careful which video you follow, some get very complicated and expensive, I'm just saying.
You should make a DIwife Christmas 🎄 tree
How to make a who tree from a pallet. The one that says maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more
try e6000????
Y'all tried soooo hard 😂😂😂

HI!
Where did u get Mac and cheese duck tape 😂😜
What if they tried shoving the ornament hooks into the styrofoam...
A small hula hoop would have worked much better!. The pool noodles are way too floppy!
Buy the red pool noodles wrap white duct tape to make stripe then put a wire hanger inside shape and bend the neck to make a candy cane! Super easy and cute for Christmas craft.
Can you do a series of boys vs girls Christmas relay race challenges?
😟Fishing line from the bottom of the wreath to the hanger to create roundness. 👎🤷♀️
literally no joke Mangin is my last name!
_"Tubes and balls"_ Why is that funny?
Wire on the inside to keep shape
I made one of these years ago using a metal wreath frame, glass ornaments, and hot glue gun. It looked beautiful. I hung it on the inside of an exterior door. As it got cold outside and cooled the glue, all the ornaments fell off in about 3 big chunks. HUGE waste of time and effort!
Homemade snow globes next?
lol
this is gonna be a $200 wreath
Confession.
My adhd totally have a crush on Penns adhd. The rest of him is highly fascinating to, but my crazy likes his kind of crazy. I feel lke I've found my tribe, and Penn is like the chief of that tribe. 😁

Wait how much did it cost? 😂
This was a public service announcement - don't do this project unless you have 3 hours of your life you don't want back - but it was fun to watch!
ah.....er.....umm.....o...uh...k..............................
i could buy another micheal kors purse w that money
Low Temp glue
