A couple things Gus. Make sure the engine is cold when opening the fill cap or you could get burned. I had coolant spray me in the face one time when opening the fill cap when it was hot. If you fill the reservoir to the upper line when the motor is cold, won't it overflow when the engine heats up? On cars usually there are markings on the reservoir that state the level when hot or cold. Usually when the motor is cold, you fill it to the lower mark.
this video crack me up, thats a lot of blue pee. Blue long island ice tea? lol soo buddy the oil leak seen to stop after the dealer resealed it. im gonna remove the plastic cover to make sure but i dont see big leak or stain around. I do have a separate question for ya, have you though to wrap the entire exhaust from the catback to the end? i know you have a partial part wrapped. I cannot find rebel 1100 videos showing how to remove it all to do it (disconnect the o2 sensors and all that jazz)

Hi Simon, The tube of the one i got was slightly too thick to fit through the neck so i had to get creative, look for a syringe with tubing not to exceed 4 mm in outer diameter thickness.
Hi Andrew, i haven't read up on the 500, i would suggest reaching out to Slight, he is the expert on the 500. th-cam.com/video/_srcgyQhnlk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=q2-k_Fr0iyYSAsKV
Hi There! Yes, it is premixed, so no worries there. You will need to get 2 bottles as 1 isn't enough. I would estimate that i only used a 1/3 of the second bottle.
@@doom3crazy that is the easiest way to get it cleaned out, it's a pain to remove it tbh. After draining it, pour distilled water in the tank and use the syringe to pull it out. But it is your bike, it's totally your call brother. Just be sure that the tube is very small as the neck leading to the tank is flat and narrow. Keep in mind that the manual states that you have to remove the tank and clean, to be transparent with you, and I am not a trained mechanic brother.
Hello friend. Have you thought about going darkside? I got 7 thousand miles from my original tire. I went dark and will get minimum 30 thousand miles from my new tire.
Hi Jim! forgive my ignorance brother, i'm not sure what darkside means LOL. I replaced my first set of tires to the Metzeler cruisetecs, and i recently tried the Pirelli night dragons. Both great tires!

Once again, a very informative and helpful video from the legend himself. Great to see you getting the rebel ready for riding season!
You are too kind TJ! Thank you brother! I'm so excited about the riding season!! I just want to hit the road and go!!!!

Does this differ much on the manual version?
Hi There, the Manual version is even easier as you do not need to remove the plastic engine cover as i did.

And yet still as clean as honda put it in
While this is past due, I think Honda's recommended 3 years is too often.

Not the biggest fan of the fact the coolant comes out and just goes all over the exhaust like that. Wish Honda wouldn't have designed it like that.
Yup good point... it's toxic to pets
Great point Link, in hindsight, i should have though about that... but i did catch all of it in the pan, good thing i used the large pan that day!
Exactly what i was thinking, i am glad i used the large pan!!! didn't realize it was gonna shoot out that much!
If it was on a lift that wouldn't have happened. Blame the side stand not Honda lol
