Thanks for the video, mate. This video explains why I sold my Africa Twin for a Tenere 700. The Africa Twin's design was made so that it could only be repaired or maintained at a service center. Even something as simple as changing the air filter requires removing all the fairings. They call this an adventure bike, yet the only part that needs to be changed regularly due to dirt is the air filter, but you have to remove all the fairings, and in some cases, even the crash bars. As we see in the video, you have to remove the rear wheel, rear suspension, and rear linkage to access the reservoir tank. This design is quite poor for an adventure bike when it comes to maintenance. Some might say you can pump out the reservoir tank with a hose, but residue will remain in the tank no matter how much you drain with the hose. for tenere, Air filter is under seat only 4 bolts to access it. Reservoir tank is on the left side you can remove it with only one bolt. it is easy for the who loves to work on their bike. dont get me wrong mate, I respect your work. but Honda's desingers have to re-work on their design because this is service only bike.
Thanks for your comment! I think Honda decided to prioritize weight balancing on the bike, placing it more concretated in the center of gravity of the bike. As a result, everything is too tight to release. Also, they placed the airbox in such a way to keep it high enough for the bike to dive in waters and to avoid dust breathing. As you can see from my videos, the bike handles beautiful dust breathing as opposed to the f850, for example. But durability and robustness came into a cost. It is indeed harder to do basic maintenance. I' m going to post a pros and cons video soon in which I' ll bring this discussion. I dont' know t700 but suppose it' s an beautiful piece of engineering. But I' m sure it does have some drawbacks. best regards!
Gracias por tu comentario.Buen idea utilizar una jeringuilla para extrair el líquido. pero el manual indica que se retire e lave el reservatório dentro para remover resíduos. Saludos!
Thanks for your comment! I'll probably do valve clearance checks on my next service, when the bike reaches 45k or 50 k. . I'll will certainly record a tutorial.
I have a video on the channel showing how to remove the tank and the airbox. To replace the 2 center spark plugs, in addition, you have to remove the throttle body. There are 4 spark plugs in total. the ones on the side are easily accessible. I'll post in the near future as I'll have to get them replaced. Hope it helps
I didn't measure the exact amount. I suppose it was something like 1.6/1.7 liters. Almost 2 bottles of motul coolant to fill up the radiators and reserve tank.

No seria mejor una pequeña bomba de extracción de líquido? O un amigo ladron de gasolina😂
Gracias por el video😊

Thanks
you make very nice and simple videos. keep up the good work! also, do you consider making a video with the valve clearance check? thank you!

Hi, any idea how many liters are needed between the radiator and the reserve tank? Thanks :)
