I don’t think their ratings are bad. The studio/network literally renewed the show for 2 more seasons a couple weeks ago. I doubt they’d invest that much if they felt like the were going downhill.
I think unbiased outlets would be nice to see too... sometimes there are sites and gossip blogs that only talk about the negative or only all the bad things going on in certain people’s lives... whereas other sites or blogs like NeighborhoodTalk actually give a balance of drama in media while also focusing on a lot of positive things in media ! I just think it depends on the blog and their intention and what kind of audience they’re trying to reach

Honesty some of these blogs just like to create drama and make sure people come back for more drama; that's definitely how I feel when blogs write about the royals. They always say "source(s) says ..." and never give a name to who done said it and if that person is believable or just wants a pay check.

Though this may unnecessary when it comes to gossip blogs, it is important when it becomes more consequential stories, like corruption in big business and government. Sources are protected in the say way whistleblowers are in government to encourage people to call out wrongdoing. It is incumbent on the journalist to take the time and properly vet, these "sources" to make sure what they are saying is correct. The problem is due to the competition between media orgs, they often don't take the time to do this.
I knew that story was false as soon as I saw it. Jay Z and beyonce don't comment on things. They live a totally different life than the typical celebrities, it's very smart actually.

I think it's just depends on you as a personal. What you read, and what you look up. And always do research. So when there are news or blogs, etc. You will know the truth. Most of the time I try to stay away from gossip. But I think there a positive note to blogs and negative. I like to read blogs on like health and fitness or cooking.

To be honest I used to really watch drama and tea channels on TH-cam for a few months especially which all the drama in the beauty community. However, I think the drama channels are getting out of control and at this point the behavior just seems toxic 🤷🏻♀️ it’s important to share the truth but at a certain point I think it’s becoming more about personal opinion and bias than just reporting news.
People are so quick to believe lies and drama with no facts. But what’s really sad is that people would rather see drama and lies than the truth. Even when the truth is out there.

It is incumbent on the journalist to take the time and properly vet, these "sources" to make sure what they are saying is correct. The problem is due to the competition between media orgs, they often don't take the time to do this.
I knew that story was false as soon as I saw it. Jay Z and beyonce don't comment on things. They live a totally different life than the typical celebrities, it's very smart actually.
many of the huge reveals in history have been through anonymous sources, we need the whistle blowers in this world. it's up to the posting company whether it be a small blogger or huge news network to verify accuracy before posting it to the world, which is why we have slander (spoken) or liable (written) laws on our books to hold them accountable for these disclosures.

I think it's just depends on you as a personal. What you read, and what you look up. And always do research. So when there are news or blogs, etc. You will know the truth. Most of the time I try to stay away from gossip. But I think there a positive note to blogs and negative. I like to read blogs on like health and fitness or cooking.

It’s the consumers job to fact check and verify the sources presented to them. Any journalist who takes their job seriously always knows to verify their source with their own eyes and ears. Also no, it should not be illegal to have an anonymous source. Sometimes, anonymous sources are necessary in cases of a source being a minor or someone who may fear retribution. However, you can EVALUATE how RELIABLE an anonymous source is by asking yourself if there is an adequate explanation as to why they must remain anonymous, if there sufficient information given to establish their value & if what this anonymous source is saying is corroborated by other forms of evidence. love y’all tho

To be honest I used to really watch drama and tea channels on TH-cam for a few months especially which all the drama in the beauty community. However, I think the drama channels are getting out of control and at this point the behavior just seems toxic 🤷🏻♀️ it’s important to share the truth but at a certain point I think it’s becoming more about personal opinion and bias than just reporting news.
People are so quick to believe lies and drama with no facts. But what’s really sad is that people would rather see drama and lies than the truth. Even when the truth is out there.
We live in a society where we need to as a community "vote" on everything. So if something is a scam. We should be able to vote on it and any news outlet.

Here’s the thing, people will believe sources when it’s convenient for them or if it will make them believe something it’s true. Nowadays make sure you read from different sources try and get both sides of the story instead of jumping to conclusions.

Also naming sources is for their protection. The ladies are only thinking of gossip, but imagine is Ronan Farrow had to name his sources? The Harvey Weinstein story never would have broken. Some stories put people lives in dangers especially corporate whistleblowers.
