    That’s a shame. Customer service in the gun industry needs to get their heads out of their asses. Recently, I went through similar bad customer service experiences with Springfield Armory and Sig Sauer. In fact, I may have purchased my last Springfield Armory pistol because of that. Thank you very much for sharing this video.

      @@thetexasgunvault2 it’s not a story that I want to share on air just yet. I’m thinking about it though. Happy to share it with you off-line. If you message me on Instagram I can either give you my cell or we can chat there.

    Dang…like to never got Mina apart. Ordered the aluminum replacement. Sucks CS was so terrible! I love my 44 have at least a thousand rounds thru it. Normally don’t completely tear it down. Thanks for sharing the problem you found.

      You are very welcome. It may not be a problem in your gun but it is for mine. There is a reason why the aluminum one exists.

      I agree. I know if I was a manager there I would be taking care of them so they keep buying more.

    Two years down the line and I hope your metal spacer is still working. I'm thinking of buying a Glock 44 and this issue is of concern to me. Gaston died recently as I'm sure you are aware. I was thinking of buying either a Gen 5 Model 23 or a Model 44. Thanks for your review. Maybe Glock has a workaround by now. Do you still have your Model 44?

    • @thetexasgunvault2
      @thetexasgunvault2  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes and it seems to be working good with no issue. It is still an upgrade I would recommend.

    Sounds like a solution for a young entrepreneur with a 3-D printer. Aluminum does sound like the better long-term option, though.

      I think you are right. I can not believe Glock knows about it and does not care.

    I went into the Glock ID... the Glock guys told me for you to call for warranty service... many commented they have hundreds and thousands of round out of the G44 and nobody is seeing problems

      Well, maybe I just noticed. I have seen reports online but I know most Glock owners do not clean their guns like I do.

    Not defending Glock here in the slightest I've never dealt with their customer service. However let me say as a former firearms Customer Service Rep myself all CS Reps are not equal!
    I felt like I tried to be polite and helpful when people called but some of my coworkers were as lazy as possible. It's up to the CS manager to hold these people accountable of course but sadly it doesn't always happen. Honestly it's a tough job and sometimes the people they get are not up to the task. CS Reps should be paid well as they truly the face of the company, and how people interact with said company. Typically though they are treated as the bottom of the totem pole and walked all over. The amount of stupidity I had to deal with made me want to pull my hair out, both from customers and management.
    I do agree that Customer Service departments for firearms companies always appear to be an afterthought, which is absolutely the wrong attitude. Much like IT or other company infrastructure the high ups never want to give funding to improve support departments in the company. With that said I can also say I try not to judge a company based on only one interaction because you can always get a bad apple. If I have several interactions that are the same I would definitely pass judgement though. My recommendation would be to try calling again and see if you get the same kind of response honestly, or if they are short with you request to speak with a supervisor. Always be polite and courteous, that will always get you 10x farther than yelling and complaining at Customer service.

      Your are right. Maybe I was unfair. I will give them another email. I know they have a tough job and I always try and be nice and thank them for their time and effort. I am never short with them as I know my problem with the gun was not their fault.
