Looks like what my tv is doing !I just bought a new tv !my qled Hisense was manufactured in my may of 2022 purchased sept 2022 backlight out April 20 2024!New Hisense purchased
If the screen went dark all at once wouldn't that mean that there must be another issue than LEDS?.. What are the odds that ALL 14 light strips went out at once?...or are they connected to where if 1 goes out they all go out? I do see a picture in the screen when I get close to the TV screen. And the sound is working. 75" Hisence Thanks
My tv did the same, I bought a new one but going to allow my teen son to fix it if he can.. good project for a young man to try.. better then rebuilding an engine 😂
So i have a 58” with sound and backlight but no display, i can hit the back button 5 times to enable audio guides so i know its operational and the display doesnt seem cracked anywhere… any ideas? Thinking maybe theres a loose ribbon cable maybe but i dont know much about tv repair to be honest but i assume they are like giant cell phones
@@justinthorpe8813 i took mine apart discharged the capacitors and looked for any componentson the board that were obviously burned or loose or broken and found none, after about a day it just wasnt safe to keep it like that with my 1 year old running around
About to trash the one i tried to fix with new boards. Nothing. Did the ribbon and tape fix but it just kept giving black lines. It was a marketplace freebie anyway.
That’s exactly what’s wrong with this one. Never thought to shine a flash light at it but can see what we could see in your video.

I was hoping it was just the screen not working but I don't think it's working at all. I don't have sound either. Is it time to junk it?

It just happened to me on my TCL 75'' :( After only 4 years of usage... Very desapointed and i'll never buy a TCL tv (N)
