My First Gilthead Yeeeeeees !!! - A Gilty Obsession EP6 - The Hunt For A Gilthead Bream -

In this video I make a journey down south to meet someone who contacted me and kindly offered to take me fishing for gilts
After a hard morning and an hour into the ebb! I catch my first one
I am delighted the fish was unfortunately deep hooked and wouldn't go back and although its a little small i decide rather than put it back to die I honoured its life and cooked it for dinner

Well done. I live in Carmarthenshire but I’m planning a fishing and camping trip to Pembrokeshire in a few weeks time to target Gilthead and black bream. Caught loads of bass up to 12lb, but now the schoolies have arrived they can become a nuisance so fancy having a crack at something different. You did the right thing eating it, you could tell by the bleeding from the gills it’d never survive.
