Great video, great info, great work. Just wondering if you and the Electrified Latina coordinate your videos to drop at the same time? Also, have you done your taxes?
Hey Like your tutorial Researching on a E-bike and this is one on the list The only thing is after I purchase I’m going to do several different modes so I might just go with something that has the extra features. But I haven’t ruled out this one yet.
Its pretty much 1.5 the power, so it would eat through the battery quite a bit faster. Never did a range test to know exactly but you will notice a difference.
You have to remove the old brake wire and use the ones that come with the new brakes. It's not very hard to do since you have to run the brake hoses anyways
@@shootthechit thanks for the quick reply. i meant, do they plug straight in the controller, or do you need to cut the wires and resolder them. but from what i see in the video they plugged right in.
@@shootthechit and btw, thanks for the video, it was very useful. I'm ordering the same parts now, but will skip the controller mod since i'm half your weight :)
@@shootthechit ...I am a psycho....as soon as I saw the opening...I knew you were on the commune. It is nice that they keep letting you come back......
Yes I like these brakes, worth the money for sure. I believe they are metallic pads but I'm not 100% certain. I didn't change the rotors when I did it, so they do make a bit of noise, so I would recommend changing your rotors as well
Yes, it really works.. I bought this pack of resistors on Amazon and used the one labled R0005 (same as the 2 that are already in the controller) amzn.to/3TZ5qMJ
I don't think its gonna be an issue really, its not like its putting out a massive amount of power and the bike never gets prolonged full throttle usage

Damn...I was wrong...Great job! Your soldering is worthy of a job on the Ford Automotive line
Real Men melt steel 😮

No, why did she release a video today too? What are taxes??
Great Job! I thought I was the only one with great soldering skills like that!
Always enjoy watching your videos, they're funny

Awesome job it definitely worked out well really enjoyed the video 😊
Saving the World..nice
Nice mod job, glad they worked out pretty well. And I did enjoy the giveaway to a subscriber.
Great video! Hoping to do it myself, hoping you can confirm there hasn’t been any long term negatives to doing this - perhaps overheating? Thanks!
Been no issues so far, but my friend has this bike and I'm not sure how much he rides it.
Holy Chit...you got a garage! Nice!!!
09:00 Castlevania's music!
What size resistor did you use? Did you jist solder it onto one of the existing resistors? I have a Engwe E26 so components are probably similar
Hello, what is the brand of the brakes?
Cool little video. Great mods.!
Hello! Is it an organic pads or metallic?
Nice video. Cool mods
Blood sweat and tears baby, mostly tears, with a little blood.😅
Ha ha ha..Great job! Great ending!!
Nice video man. I will have to try these mods, but I wonder, by how much would it affect the range of the bike?
Its pretty much 1.5 the power, so it would eat through the battery quite a bit faster. Never did a range test to know exactly but you will notice a difference.
hey man, i was wondering, did those breaks work plug-and-play with the controller?
did you have to re-do the wiring or anything? thanks a lot!

@@DEPARTE They plug straight in, same style plus as stock.
Just got mine today and they have upgraded the Throttles to a 1/2 Throttle! Had one ordered so cancelled that.
oh yea? they must have just changed that
I'm curious, why do you prefer the 1/2 throttle? that's what i have also and i'm looking to switch it for a full one 😆
Awesome video thanks!
But..how much did the garage cost..?
I did this when I was on vacation a few weeks ago, so the garage sadly isn't mine:(

Omg...me too...starting a project and asking.."why did I want to do this...?" Nothing is ever simple...Great job...Great practical tips
Hello! Is it still a good brakes?

@@shootthechit 👍Thanks!
What happens if you shunt both nodes using two resistors?
No idea, but I wouldn't want to run anymore than 30a through that controller
Sweet!
Hey that soldering doesn't look half bad... if I squint really hard... like, really, really hard... oh chit it got dark
🤣
can you put 2 resistors would that give you more again or blow it
have one already done love another tho
@@jameswhelan83 At some point you will fry the controller, I wouldn't test my luck with 2
@@shootthechit thanks lad was thinking the same stick with one
The batteries are 25 amps MAX output so isn't this just frying the BMS inside?
Hi, can you tell me what resistor did you use in the control unit?
but does it really work?
Yes, it really works.. I bought this pack of resistors on Amazon and used the one labled R0005 (same as the 2 that are already in the controller) amzn.to/3TZ5qMJ
Thanks bro❤
whats the chance to get your butt exploded after that controller upgrade? I guess a wheel motor is not going to live long after that power increase
I don't think its gonna be an issue really, its not like its putting out a massive amount of power and the bike never gets prolonged full throttle usage
Wow your soldering skill are chit! 😂😮😂 And your mechanical skill are on par with mine...which are also chit.😂😮😂
I'm not sure if I like the braking nutcam, innovation always has a cost.
Going to send u my controller...please shunt mod it and send back to me...along with that bike
No..not 1500
Wow you really are UNRESTRICTED
