Gotta love the "gospel chops" influence on some of these (newer) rock/metal bands. Loniel Robinson and Matt Garstka are other great examples of that.
I agree. Although it is overplayed quite often they are more interesting than a lot of rock drummers without dynamics

Mihai Drums he’s already on that level he basically needs to just maintain his chops and skill level, but their is nothing wrong with keeping a open mind and learning new things.
Eric has become a great influence on me recently. His contagious happy, friendly and funny personality and ofc his incredible talent on the drums backed by dedication and hard work. He is in many ways what i aspire to be as a drummer.
