Tenchu Z's only flaw is lack of a good narrative, but in terms of gameplay it plays out more faithful as a Tenchu entry than whatever came out for the wii. That said I do want to see another Tenchu game some day that has both a good story and gameplay, not just one.

Or just simply pick it up randomly in the way home, But the real one is basically weaponless when he gets transferred. The only thing I can think of is.. he use a substitute weapon, although I don't know how the f he finds that sword in the frickin portal 😂😂 but one thing for sure, Izayoi is still standing up the hill, until the real rikimaru is back and fight onikage in that cave.
I can’t believe how much the PS2 version of Tenchu, “Wrath of Heaven” was missing. I can’t remember what exactly, as it’s been so long since I did play. But I know there is a lot more content in “Return from Darkness”.

hate the cemetary level it creeps me out, and unless your really good with Ayame, you basically have to play through that stage twice, to get the yoto swords then replay to get the skill as while it's doable with out them, you have to be extremely skilled to pull it off.

Ok. So now let me try to understand this...🤔 How could Kagura take control to the tall and strong headless samurai in Ayame's mission in the cemetery? They honestly should have written and applied that into the plot of all of these versions of this game (Tenchu Wrath of Heaven, Tenchu Return from Darkness and Tenchu San portable)...
Either a Tenchu Remake / Remaster or a continuation of the Story which should be played from 5 different points of view: Rikimaru and Ayame as the heroes, then Tesshu and Tatsumaru as Antiheroes and Onikage as the Villain. I would love Onikage's Storyarc to resurrect Tenrai AND Mei'Oh!, while Rikimaru, Ayame and Tesshu take care of other things in Lord Gohda's Lands. The true UNSUNG HERO should be Tatsumaru... because this guy deserves more love and a redemption Storyarc. I did not mention Rin, because I wouldn't know what to do with her :P Rikimaru is troubled by guilt for killing Princess Kiku finds some kind of solace in doing "Work" for Lord Gohda (Instert Missions here) Ayame, now possessed by Onikage hunts Rikimaru down and fights him whenever the opportunity is there, but she needs to be freed from Onikage's influence, in order to make her become normal again. Doctor Tesshu Fujjioka, now being the only surviving Member who once worked for "Muzen" leaves the Lands of Gohda and settles in one of the neighboring States, working as a Doctor, but his past would catch up to him. I downloaded this game for my Xbox 360 because of the extra missions it has. It works fine but the problem is the cutscenes don't show well and it's only a black screen with the dialogue and text. I don't know what to do
Wrath of Heaven came out first on the PS2, Return from Darkness was released later for the xbox with additonal stages and other upgrades such as some cutscenes being animated rather than still frame cutscenes. the first Onimusha game got similar treatment by releasing genma onimush later on for the xbox.
Anyway I do like this particular significant build of Tenchu Wrath of Heaven. And I'm even glad K2 Co., Ltd did replaced the title from Wrath of Heaven to Return from Darkness which is great with this significant build for a change!!😃

so Activision was too lazy to create a tenchu for themselves and they went with from software to do it, because watching all the games in the tenchu series is more than obvious that sekiro is a tenchu
Activision was just the publusher, fromsoftware was always the developer for tenchu, sekiro started to be developed as a tenchu game but it became its own thing.
