    Wood flashing = Tear-out
Also Honest John is one of my favorite. I did a scratch-built 3" for my L1 and scratch built 4" for L2. Guess what's next xD
You can 3D print the nose cone bulb and use a central Fiberglass tube with a Fiberglass nose cone on top for strength. So the tip of the nose cone is just a fiberglass cone, but then there is a bulb-shroud that goes on to a tube so it looks like a big honest John nose cone but in actually its a 3D print that goes over a tube. You can paint on JB weld to prevent it from cracking and taking damage from flight.
Excited to see this one fly

Great job, Braden!!! Going to be a great flight on that motor combo. Nice thing is that the rocket overall will be relatively light so you can fly it on smaller motor combos but make them all white propellant and still get a big realistic exhaust plume.

Great video. The Honest John is one of my all time favorites as well. I have a question for you. I notice you have an upscale Red Max. Where did you get the decals for the rocket? Thanks much.

Hey quick question. I’m ordering one from Ken he has one for me. Also one of my favs. Did the kit come with some kind of stand off for the rail guides?
    Thanks man .Jim

That's awesome! It did not, no. I 3D printed them and bought longer screws for my rail buttons.

16:1 on the Js alone. Wow. Some e-match thermite starters will get them all burning nice and quick!

I'll probably use BKNO3! I also might just use pyrodex pellets. We'll see.

@@RocketVlogs ive used pyrodex pellets (cut down) and thermite with good results. Never tried BKNO3 but thermite is instant on.
