- CBS News Miami's Morgan Rynor was reporting live on the devastation when she heard the pup's faint bark coming from the debris.
Honestly I’m so happy that the family is going to take the dogs. So many people dump them at shelters when a loved one dies.

It’s a good thing she put the dog on camera this morning so the family of the deceased would know the dog was safe and would come get her and her sibling.

I live on the FL east coast where the eye of Milton passed directly through, and after all the stress of preparing for the storm and stress of going through hurricane wind gusts for hours this morning and worrying about flooding, this is truly an uplifting, heartwarming story!!❤️

As a fur mom brought tears to my eyes but happy for the fur babies but sad for them losing their loved ones.

It is highly frustrating to see an entire housing development made from just plywood & timber construction...not a reinforced concrete column, beam or frame nor solid masonry walls to be seen on any house, & in a state that year on year gets a battering from storms.
It's a trailer park. Lots of them in Florida.
It got taken out by a tornado. Not the hurricane.
Still, a concrete house (that follows a code for certain areas) have a lot more chance to get through with damage, but not collapsing.
What a lovely ending to a tragic tragedy. Hopefully the two dogs will adjust to their new home, so happy they made it!❤
