Sheila, I'm so sorry about your precious dog.
Now I am determined to get my dogs eyes fixed so he can see again. He was diagnosed with diabetes and I was told let him go blind, it's ok, he's fine. No. My dog deserves to see. I am taking him to the Dr. to see if they can fix his eyes before he goes completely blind. I love my dog, he served me as a service dog for ten years; I owe him that. So sad her dog did not make it; wish she could have held him, but the current was too strong. :(
Old generation are just built differently🎉❤
What an inspirational woman! Incredible!

What a beautiful story ...
If someone in their 80s has the will to survive and the determination to not give up, what is our excuse????😮
Exactly!!!!
That's the attitude it's going to take to keep the corporate vultures out who are circling all that devastation in the region and licking their lips. I hope she is characteristic of the people who live there. Nerves of steel.
God bless this woman.
God bless you Sheila! You did everything you possibly could do in that traumatic situation. I’m so sorry you lost your precious fur baby, I cant even imagine. Incredibly strong woman! Sending all my love to you Sheila, one day at a time ❤️
Glad you're alive ❤
My sweet lady all animals go to heaven I promise that!
Don't leave that property!!
Amazing Woman….God blessed her and will continue too….so incredibly strong….heartbreaking that she lost her sweet companion 😢❤
If she wants to replace that dog I would like to help her
What a woman !!!
YES! Thank you. Every....single.....life spared means something to me. PLEASE share all that you can. I SO get her grief over her best friend's death. 💔 my little old chihuahua mix helped me survive the Pandemic homelessness. He survived long enough to see our new home our yard and all the toys and treats and sweaters. we are stable now. And he closed his eyes and passed. I know he waited to do that. ❤️❤️
What a Miracle Praise the Lord 🙏
So thankful her strength and determination kept her fighting! So sorry that so lost her beloved fur baby!😢
Bless your sweet heart. You're an inspiration to all of us. And I'm so sorry for your lose. Prayers and gratitude 🙏
God bless her, the backbone of this country are in those hills. The strongest most resilient people alive.
I'm glad she's OK physically. I was wondering how she managed to get a Mt St Helens hat and thinking she reminds me of my grandma (who lives in Oregon).
Sheila I'm so glad you swam to safety, you're a brave woman. I'm so very sorry to hear about your beloved dog and your home destroyed. Blessings to you and prayers to you. One day at a time, long haul there. I'm donating to Samaritan's Purse, hoping it helps out. I hear all over the news they are in bringing in supplies and helping folks in need clearing out trees and helping with their properties and clean out, food, water, providing Starlink via Elon and generators too.
I want to be her when I grow up!! I still have time, I'm only 64!!!!!
Same! I’m about to turn 66! 😅
For mold remediation: one part vinegar to 9 parts water. One application does it. This comes from all the science of Katrina outcomes.
Wow, thank you for that. I thought is was bleach.
2 hip replacements 2 knee replacements. Rt and left each.thats a woman who wants to keep going. Prayers for you! You give me courage❤
Sometimes our fur babies are our family. 😢 We spend all our time with them and they love us unconditionally.
They can be our only companions & good company. I'm so sorry you had to witness the loss of him. I have no doubt you will eventually get your home back up. Thinking of all the ppl going through this tragedy.
Amen! ❤
Wow! Incredibly strong 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
I'm sorry for the loss of your dog 🐕 but thank God your alive 🙏 🙌 ☝️
Great strong woman
Please! Give me a break. Let's just begin with this freakin awesome excuse for a superwoman is not an ordinary human. I mean, you can try to sugarcoat this story like she is just some sweet little lady that loves her little dog,but ... She's some kind of angel,or something
Praise the Lord. Amen 🙏
Wow so sad
80 yrs old and living alone by a river, what could possibly happen? oh my, old folks can b stubborn, and it can lead to their demise. it almost did in this case. she shd b living with/near her kid(s) so they can look after her, like any family circle.
❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wow
Can this lady put a small camper on her property.. I have seen some for under 5000. Online
Betty White to Johnny Carson, "Old broads are the best, don't you think!?"
