Then go into 10v10s for PVP intros. Highly recommend watching people’s strats and trying to build off of it.
This video really nails it! The EA Pack actually ain't that bad, it is kind of a little thank you to the playerbase before release and everyone who waited can still buy it (I am sure there will be sales later on). The Gold Edition is basically like a season pass and you get upcoming DLC (and two digital handbooks that I think can be sold separately, too); Gold Edition is also a bit cheaper than individual purposes. Given the track record of Eugen Systems I think they will deliver! (thinking history pass for Steel Division 2 that was possibly, not 100% sure now, but I think it was, in the Total Conflict Edition). It is also important to note: The DLC is optional. If you want to play with the new battlegroups or play the new campaigns, go for it. But it won't lock people out.

This game is all I can think about since I bought it 2 weeks ago, I've only played Army General campaign still on the fulda gap one, but game is so fun and a pure WW3 spectacle. 2 things I wish they would add is a full city urban map like Berlin, and maybe another game mode for single player other then the 3 capture zone system, like just one or two zones strictly defense or attack so that deployment and battles would be more varied or concentrated.
Great review and overview. :) The gold edition is basically giving you a season pass for the 4 upcoming dlcs that are planned for like around the next year or so to come which will around double the games content. There seems to be some snobbery from war games about it, another TH-cam told me they thought Warno was arcade-y. I've had a similar journey with it to you and I've enjoyed it too.
Great review, Luke! So I have to ask ... is WARNO 1.0 better than Regiments? Be great if you could do a comparison in the near future. I recently purchased Regiments and enjoy it so wondering if WARNO 1.0 is worth buying when I already own Regiments. Thanks! :)
There is a lot of content in WARNO I will say that. I've a soft spot for Regiments but overall I'd have to say that WARNO at least till the next Regimenrs DLC is back on top 🚀
What do people think about the 3rd party required account? That is holding me back, and I was really considering removing it from wishlist. Giving it time for 3rd party site, feedback..
I was kinda annoyed that units in Regiments just walk through buildings etc.. Total immersion breaker. Why/how could devs of a strategy game that tries to portray somewhat realistic combat do that? That just seemed weird and took me right out of it. Does Warno do the same thing, or are buildings "physical" objects units can't clip through? Oh, nevermind. Just got to the part in the video where you say it happens as well... DAMMIT WTF? WHYYY???
@LTGamingTH-cam Might be difficult but adds so much.. Compare with something like the Broken Arrow demo, and we're in a completely different category. I really regret it, because i'd love to play it. Seeing how at the time i was essentially shooed away from the official forums by an admin no less, for daring to propose more authentic ordnance loads and performance from the then newly implemented jet aircraft, being a simulator and aviation nerd that i am, (early days of airland battle), because in his-her words, MP balance and experience was the game's main focus, and that such trivialities should not be the subject of the game, my personal experiences with the Wargame franchise have been lest then stellar. I mean, don't get me wrong, i own and still at times even play Red Dragon, but it's exactly something i recommend to more serious wargamers or enjoy it that much to even remember when was the last time i played it.... So my questions is, aside from the fact that it's probably the only game of its genre right now, how much concessions does the game make at the expense of the SP experience and historical and technological authenticity, for the sake of MP streamlining and balance?
