I love painting on boards too. I sometimes tape some heavy Arches to a firm plastic container lid so I can tilt it the same way. The plastic slows the drying down just a bit also, which is helpful. Beautiful 🌹 beautiful Artist!

This is beautiful Louise! By far my favourite rose, it looks as if it could be made of ribbons - due to the lovely transparency: there's so many wonderful paints on the market these days, but it's hard to beat W&N when it gets to the nitty gritty! Thank you for your time in doing this for us ;-)

The red color of this rose is spot in, I'll try that color. My daughter wants me to paint her a red rose. I did a grouping of loose roses but I had a hard time with colors. It was beautiful.
