OK this eurovision year has SO MANY GOOD SONGS Bulgaria, Netherlands and Slovenia SHOULD have been in the final, switched with France and Spain. Macedonia is a pure bop I love it, Switzerland is a killer and Hungary is my winner. The top 5 is really really strong Honnestly

I think a lot of the prequalified countries just decided to send pretty mediocre songs as they were already qualified, which is why I'm glad that system has changed. I feel like the running order helped Latvia a lot in the final (along with it being a good song).

For a while Lithuania held the record for most points for a last placed act in a semi.... Slovakia took that record in 2012
Every country who qualified from the Semi Final placed in the top half apart from North Macedonia.
