@microcyber......I completely agree with you. The SS United States is about to be sunk as a coral reef in Florida, all while these useless status symbol pickup trucks still roll on. Seems like the engineering minds of great colossal machines have been seduced by the auto industry.
My grandfather worked for bucyrus from the 1930's to 1974, and my dad from 67 to 1995. This was a legendary machine!
very sad, that big muskie was scrapped so it did not become a monument to show young people what former generations created!
