Most likely using computer programs such as FL Studio. While listening you can hear different instruments such as flute, bells, and some kind of string instrument. All of these instruments (samples) are composed individually in separate "tracks" which are then combined together to create the music (song). You can think of it the same as every* band has somebody playing drums, somebody playing bass and somebody playing guitar, and only together they create songs.
