And when I was waiting outside for an hour with many other fans for about an hour they came out. Your music saved me and made me feel that someone was out there feeling the same thing and was going through the same thing I did back when I was growing up back in the early 2000's. For the people who say you miss the old simple plan, well, they changed. When they started, they were young and their life was way different than it is now. Their famous song and Welcome to my life was a sign they were going through kinda the same things as the song portrayed. Now, they have money and their lives changed. They're having and they're doing what they love. Also, the fact that music evolves and it's VERY nice to hear music that's different to what most people listen to in this generation. At this point, no rock station played Simple Plan, clamming they were too pop. But, some rock station were willing to play Addicted. The same year, the guys got an invite to tour with Avril Lavigne that year. When these rock stations heard about this, they said they wouldn't play Addicted if they went on tour with Avril. At the time, Simple Plan were on billboards, and it was rare a billboards chart artist ever got played on rock station. So to say, Simple Plan have become pop isn't true. Because, they've always had a pop element to them. A lot punk fans even hated them at the time, because they claimed SP were too pop. Even some compared them to a pop punk version of the Backstreet Boys. So, yeah. Just some information for people, who claim they're too pop now. I for one, been a fan since I was 12-13. And now I'm 25. And I have heard these things for years, yet they're still my favourite band. People think, just because it's pop, it's bad. Michael Jackson was pop, but he was one of the most talented songwriters, The Beatles could be compared to in a way, how One Direction make woman go crazy. Pop can be good, and bad.

I rather see SP evolving, than remain the same. After the 3rd record, I started expecting new sounds, that are unique from their previous songs. Like Boom, it still has a classic SP feel to it. And I think, the band is just becoming better writers when it comes to lyrics.

Yes time has change and they are less -heavy- edgy but at least they did not change as much as marianas trench, fall out boy, we the kings,good charlotte, boys like girls, hawk nelson and etc. Their songs are still much better than the mainstream ones tbh.....So stoked for their 5th album!

Saw them live few months ago, and last year as well.. I woudnt think they come to our little country twice in a year, it was such a good feeling! I would listen to them every weekend on every show if I could.. will never get bored of them! They are the same lovely band as they've always been.. Just went to their concert 3 days ago!! I danced, cried, laughed, jumped It was the best night of my life regardless of the shitt day I had had before Their music, sound, vibe, EVERYTHING, just made the night 100xs better without exaggeration. I went with a friend who knew what I was going through, and she saw how my whole persona and vibe changed as soon as they came on stage.... they've also been in my life since I was about 9 years old! Their music brings me way back to my childhood and for that I am super thankful for... thank you simple plan, for the most amazing concert experience and for the most amazing most relatable music of my childhood ❤️

Epic song and music video! Yes time has change and they are less -heavy- edgy but at least they did not change as much as marianas trench, fall out boy, we the kings,good charlotte, boys like girls, hawk nelson and etc. Their songs are still much better than the mainstream ones tbh.....So stoked for their 5th album!
+Charissa Lim Has Marianas Trench really changed that much? I know their new album is pretty different sounding unlike SP's more easing into it more or less. Though lyricaly wise kind of, MT isn't that different. Now Faber Drive on the other hand..

It was the best night of my life regardless of the shitt day I had had before
Their music, sound, vibe, EVERYTHING, just made the night 100xs better without exaggeration. I went with a friend who knew what I was going through, and she saw how my whole persona and vibe changed as soon as they came on stage.... they've also been in my life since I was about 9 years old! Their music brings me way back to my childhood and for that I am super thankful for... thank you simple plan, for the most amazing concert experience and for the most amazing most relatable music of my childhood ❤️
