Definately! I never really got the "industry standard" argument. Like, yeah, it helps to already know the software a company needs you to know, but their pipeline will be different to everyone elses anyway. Professionals should be able to transfer their skills from one app to another, regardless of what it is. As long as their foundations are strong, switching apps should be easy. 👌
This exactly what I'm talking about with the "Industry standard crowd". You can still use AE for what its meant for, compositing.
