I missed ALL of these Melina dialogues and I am eternally grateful to be hearing them now! They are providing a lot of really interesting context and I am loving it! Thanks again Wraff!!!
I can't express how much that Caelid warp brought my esteem and love for the game up. I wasn't aware of it, but subconsciously I wasn't fully into all the castle/woods and cave themes after the network test. I just couldn't leave Caelid once I was sent there - all the sights were set up in such an uncanny fever dreamish way. I went right from the tunnel, and had a second set of goosebumps seeing all of the crows eerily watching over and all the giant uncanny dogs eating carcasses. Then I found the Guts great sword and that strength talisman few hours into playing, on a strength/quality build. I had been missing that uncanny fever dream style of horror so much, mainly from how frequently I'd see it in the 2000's as a kid. Best impression an area has given me Also I literally went from Tree Sentinel -> Agheel and then got hardstuck on both the Crucible/Misbegotten fight and the Dragonbarrow Godskin Apostle. Finding all 3 of those everywhere in the game afterwards was a bummer, but the initial headcanon and first impressions were so nice. That Caelid tower is still one of my fav things to discover in the game, even right after Caelid. I love how it just drops a Numen rune too? kind of intriguing. And beating the Apostle as my third boss felt like a great boss experience. After like minutes of fighting, seeing the 2nd phase black fire transition and them extending their body like it's one of those sticky hand toys was such a holy shit moment. Just gushing dont mind me
Y'know, i also spent an insurmountable amount of time trying to crack my head around Melina as a character before realizing that much like Anri i'd probably have to wait for Vaati to grant me eyes. So it's pretty enjoyable seeing these full streams, shame i didn't find this channel sooner.
I respect that she made herself smaller than the game. I remember being annoyed when ppl started doing this picture-in-picture video of themselves and the game, now I am glad to see it just be this.
Aw, another Caelid lover. Caelid is probably the least appreciated region but the fact that it's pretty much optional is a sin. This place is a huge lore dunk.
Everybody hates Caelid, but they don’t realize that’s exactly the point of the region. It’s an oppressive, gross, anxiety inducing hellscape and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The most funny thing watching her is the mood swift, like, "look at this losers" *bullying voice* to "hey! It's a butterfly" *sweet voice full of amazines" haha she is funny
@wrafferino If you see this, head back to Caelid (the red sky place) and go to the ruins in the swamp. There's a staff called the Meteorite staff which is a mighty staff for early game. And there's also a spell called rock sling in the same ruins in a chest below. Both are must-have weapons for early-game spellcasters like you. Hope this helps! :)
She's loooong been through the game on twitch. afaik she's on lore run number... 2 now? This series is an edited upload from the twitch live playthrough from pretty much day 1

Glad you enjoyed!! I actually have some ideas as to what is up with Melina now that i didn't have then. May have to put it to video myself!
Now, this does put a smile on my face.
2:38 your "excuse me" and melinas "Share them with me" synced up so well i thought it was an echo! xDD

I love the Pest Glaive. Looks awesome
Caelid has probably some of the best enemy designs in the game and weapons
So this was like 3 hours into my first playthrough but Caelid is STILL my favorite area!! It's amazing!!

If I did a play through it would be me hurling insults at bosses constantly.
22:43 So she's a crackhead
Never stop never stopping wraff
Can't stop not stopping, won't stop not stopping
I love how this video ends with "hottest grandpa I've heard in my life."
Very enjoyable upload, it's nice to get to see parts of your first playthrough!
Thankyou but I need more parts sooner!
"Sellen of Sellia sells sorcery spells", now say that 5 times in a row 😂
48:30 Dark Souls 2 moment
I don't get it

Oh no, wrafferino, please, no
Can’t get enough of your laugh. As a RoB user myself, I find hilarious how you decimate those with so much apparent ease.
I'm so glad you enjoy it!! Thank you!

Yeah the playthrough is long since done, this was from Feb 26th.
But I'm still playing Elden Ring 😭
Oh yeah, I totally forgot that this playthrough is re-uploaded lol.
Good Ol’ Elden ring
