Very good job Barry! I love that you TRY and folks get to watch and see your hard work! Some artists show polished videos as if their work was effortless… We all know the truth… It all takes practice… 😊 Thank you
I agree - practice is key! I think it's fun to show my mistakes and hopefully learn from it. I also find that people may be less intimated to try when they see how bad I can do lol.
Well done Barry, you are one step ahead of me, I can't even get up the courage to try!
As the Quilting Marine says, it's only fabric and it's only thread. Don't be afraid, it's fun. It can be frustrating, as is much learning, but it is fun,
Look for loops or a C .
I agree with Sybil - it's only fabric. Give it a whirl as I say lol.
Hi Barry, I just found your videos a couple of weeks ago and think you're so cool! I love that you're not afraid to try new things - you're a normal person learning rather than some of the really polished stuff. Make sure you're having fun while you do it. Big hugs from England. Also, Steve is a handsome chap!
Thank you very much and Steve says thank you. Hope to visit your country next year! It’s on my bucket list.
*This actually looks like somebody actually quilted this"😂 You did! 😂
I never know what I'm going to say lol.
That little gizmo looks amazing! Good for you to even attempt it at this early stage in your quilting life.
It's definitely a little daunting but it can be mastered - I hope
Love the idea of your memory makers button club❤❤
I am going to do a video on it tomorrow. I think I have about 8 buttons to show off. I thought it was an easy cheap way to interact with everyone?
Wow! I am so glad your video was about the Dablines. I ordered that same set about a year ago and put them up to learn later and completely forgot about having them. You did a great job for the first time using them and now I am inspired to get those out and practice learning them. Man, you are really knocking it out of the park for a new quilter. Thanks for sharing that.
Thanks! I'm having fun with these rulers - it's definitely a learning curve, though.
Wow, you’re going hard into the paint! I’ve been quilting a few years and haven’t been brave enough to try free motion quilting. Good for you!
Well I am stuck with this large quilt and wall hanging and it’s either straight line stitching or this I’m not sending my first quilt out. I want to do it myself.
@ I’m truly impressed.
these templates are great for teaching your muscle memory soon you’ll be quilting free hand ;). great job Barry !
Thanks! I hope you are right - I am getting braver with every try.
You are a very brave explorer to try these! You did so great, and you are on your way now to mastery! I so admire your willingness to try new things. I think you would be a wonderful candidate to be the "first quilter on Mars"!
Thank you - I am excited to see what else I can do but I’m not sure I want to go to Mars 😉
Those quilting gloves come in handy. I find I cant quilt without them.
I think my hands are too fat for that particular pair 😩
@ I have actually bought gardening gloves. They are cheaper and come in many sizes. I think you are brave to use the ruler quilting. I own rulers, but every time I go to quilt something, I chicken out and just sew a squiggly line across it diagonally every couple inches. I just made 12 blocks for a quilt and am thinking about quilting each block independently so I can practice ruler or free motion quilting. I only have been quilting for a year so have a lot to learn.
I have a lot of cut resistant gloves since I work for a construction company (and no one else wears a size small 😂), so the warehouse guy gives me all I want for free. I also add hot glue squiggles to the fingers and palms for extra grip.
I loved the video!!! I have been quilting for years and have yet to work up the courage to try this. Thank you so much for sharing. I am going to give it a try!
I think you could be sweeping the floor or peeling potatoes and I'd watch. You have a wonderful calming effect. I hope you continue to enjoy your new hobby. Thank you for posting.
Carol - your message means the world to me. It is very much appreciated!
Fair play to you Barry. I admire people who are willing to try. I like the look of those particular rulers. They look easier to hold than some. The difficulty I have with free motion quilting is maintaining the speed that I move my hands and my foot on the pedal. I’ve learned to reduce the speed of my sewing machine and putting my foot right down on the pedal - that way I only have to concentrate on my hand speed. You’re doing great. Keep it up 😊
Absolutely - my juki doesn’t gave a speed control so I have to learn to slow down. I agree with you 100%
Absolutely - my juki doesn’t gave a speed control so I have to learn to slow down. I agree with you 100%
My Juki doesn't either, but I created one by taping a little pad of folded cardboard under my presser foot in the back so that my pedal will only depress so far. When I "step on it" my machine only goes a medium speed and not a million stitches per minute!
Just discovered you today! Bravo on the video! Very helpful! 😀
Very interesting! You give me hope to try those things. Love to see Steve again😊
Thanks for the encouragement, Steve says hi! 😊 give it a go and let me know how you are doing.
Hi Barry, that’s really good. I’ve tried free motion quilting but without the rulers and that was hard for me, really hard. But now that I see you using the ruler I think I can do that. Thanks!
Give it a try Pat. I’m going to practice before I try it on my quilt but I’m excited to finally finish it.
Great job, Barry! I admire your willingness to try something new!
Thanks for the encouragement, I’m having a blast!
Barry, I like the fact that you show honest attempts, and you are not afraid to try new techniques. I need to be more willing to try and not worry about being perfect. Keep on quilting. God Bless
Thank you so much, I am still learning! Give it a shot and see how you do!
As a beginning quilter your channel is tremendously helpful for me. I'm just starting to machine quilt my lap quilts. Keep it up!
Thank you very much. You warm my heart. I hope to see sometime what you have quilted. I hope we are both a 100% better by the end of the year!
I like that your channel shows that the struggles are real. Nice job!
Thanks, I thought I might as well share the good the bad and the ugly lol.
You inspired me to try free motion quilting. Going to order the Dabline. Your videos are great, thanks!
@@jazzyjoyce421 thank you very much. Give it a try - just make sure your machine is a high shank so that it will work.
That looks fantastic, Barry
🧵🪡 great job! My go to is straight line quilting, you’re giving hope to many! Love your helper too! 🐾
I’m glad you enjoyed it! It’s fun to learn something new, and my furry friend is always happy to help! Sometimes he’s a pain 😀
I'm really glad I found this video. Very good demo of a product that I only vaguely knew existed. I too am going to be quilting free motion on a regular sewing machine so it's nice to know there is something that's going to help me keep on the pattern thank you for doing this
I’m glad I could help - I need to learn how to do this too. Practice, practice and practice lol
Great job Barry. Practice will make you improve.
You are so right - thanks for the encouragement!
you did a very good job and you aren't afraid to do it and show your progress. thank you
Thanks for watching - I appreciate the encouragement.
Looking good. Maybe you can teach me some new things. Can certainly have fun experimenting with new ideas. Thank you. Hello Steve ❤.
Steve says “Hello” well I hope we can learn from each other. I’ve learned a lot just from reading comments.
Glad to see you are jumping in and trying it all.
Thank you very much. I’m having fun.
You did great!! I have several Angela Walters rulers and free courses with her as well as a template set. I think I will pull my template set out and give it a whirl! Thanks for the inspiration!
Give it a Whirl lol. I’m glad to give you some inspiration- more like if he can halfway do it then I really can do it lol 😀
I’m a retired RN, at 73 yrs, I’m getting ready to start my journey in quilting. I think I bought everything from fabric to tools I think I need. Watching many videos, I’m getting braver to start. Had to go thru eye surgeries for cataracts first. Going for 1st post op visit today. With all the videos I’ve watched since November , yours are the most encouraging. I love it.
I’ll let you know when I start. I’m looking for the best pattern for a very first time quilter to get started to start my journey.
Thank you for your kindness to show your journey. I like the patterns for your free motion quilting. I’ll look forward to purchasing them. Also, I’m a pet owner. I have 2 large golden doodles and 2 cats, a ragdoll and a ragamuffin. Always had a pet. I love you introducing your fur baby in video. And this video was not the worse video. It’s great for a WANNA BEE quilts to enjoy.
I will be sending you a button. I Wanna Bee a memory in you button jar. Great Idea.
I’m looking forward to many more of your videos.
First - awesome thank you for the compliments I really appreciate it. I started out by sewing a charm pack together and creating a mini blanket. That game me the confidence to carry on. I think you will enjoy this and be good at it! I look forward to welcoming you into the club can’t wait to get your button!
I learn more from men who quilt than I do women. Womensay, I'll go quilt this and be right back! Or show a bunch of complicated quilting moves. I can straight line quilt or stitch in the ditch. This, however, gave me hope that I may get the hang of this with a little help. Thank you for sharing this. I've looked up rulers, and they looked more difficult than just winging it. I don't want to make a perfect, beautiful quilt and ruin it trying to quilt it. I think I could do this with some practice 😊❤
I know exactly what you are saying. I want to practice a lot before I try it on anything large but I think it is a step up from straight line or in the ditch.
I have always wondered how these templates worked and now I get to see how they work for you! Thanks! My friend bought a used long arm and got a good price and it’s in great shape.
I so want a longarm but one thing at a time lol.
Man I will be watching this over and over again. Cause I want yo learn.
Denise - you are in trouble lol. I hope you do better than me.
What a neat little gizmo. I will have to do a search in the UK for that. You did well...Hi Steve...tell your Dad to make you a doggy quilt...Take Care Barry...xx
Wendy - Always glad to hear from you. Look around there are dozens of rulers out there. Steve said he thinks your dogs name is Sam? He says to tell him "Hey"
Glad you enjoy your venture into quilting, you are doing a great job trying new things and I enjoy your videos keep up the good work
Thank you very much it is much appreciated
Go Barry! I love that you’re approaching this art/craft with child-like curiosity and willingness to “play”. It’s only fabric and this is how you learn!
I appreciate that! I'm trying to have fun and learn as I go.
Hi Barry. I've heard of templates but never looked into them. That was a great honest demo. I wonder how they would work on a large quilt, maybe you'll use them on the quilt you were working on. It's nice to watch someone REAL learning quilting. I have a new motto - "If Barry can do it I can do it".
I feel same way because I haven’t even started quilting. Hopefully this week if I find that easy first pattern for a beginner, so I’m not stressed out before I start. Don’t know why I’m stressing out before I start, but I’m encourage because of Barry.
I feel same way because I haven’t even started quilting. Hopefully this week if I find that easy first pattern for a beginner, so I’m not stressed out before I start. Don’t know why I’m stressing out before I start, but I’m encourage because of Barry!!!!!!!
lol I love your motto - it’s so true! I plan to start out on my little wall hanging and build up to my large quilt? Barry says “start small” 😀
@@barryquilts I’ll be watching. 👍
Don’t forget to bring your bobbin thread to the top. It stops birds nests tangles on the bottom..Also try and keep a constant speed. Remembering you are creating the stitch length.. well done on your first free motion adventure!..
Thank you - I will keep practicing
You just popped up on my screen, so I’ve subscribed.I have lots of these rulers, (not this set, I’m in England) I have a large Teflon sheet with a hole for the needle that sticks to my machine bed, this helps with the movement of the fabric. It makes a big difference, so easy to move it around. I’m no expert and still learning like you, and need much more practice. Mine are Parr’s free motion quilting rulers she has a lot of you tube videos, showing how to use them, which helps. Thanks for sharing your journey.❤
Thank you very much for subscribing - I hope to earn your views on every video. It is much appreciated. I am not much into free motion quilting but I thought this would be a good stepping stone into full motion quilting?
Great job. Good heavens you are brave to be trying all these things and on camera no less!
Thanks, I'm glad you think so! I just have to keep learning.
Barry you are so brave!!! I have been doing some sort of stitching for over 40 years and I still haven't gotten up the courage to try what you are doing. Well done. I may now give it a shot.
Thank you for your videos, courage and sharing it all.
P.S., I will be sending a button or two when I get back home 🏡
I appreciate the encouragement, you can do it! I also will be looking to welcome you into the Memory Makers Button Club😉
Thank you for showing these free motion quilting rulers. Having watch you I am going to have a go as you have given me the confidence. Let’s see how l get on😂. I love your dog❤
Thank you very much and keep me posted on how you do. I would love to hear back from you. Steve says "HI" :)
Very good!!!! I absolutely love that you try and aren’t afraid of trying.
Fake it til you make it lol. Thank you very much!
Hi Barry and STEVE! Good job 😊
Amanda - Steve says "Hey" :)
Hello Berry, This is the first time I have ever noticed your channel. I'm a beginner quilter. Very familiar with Angela Walters she amazes me with free motion quilting.... Since I'm on a little home sewing machine this idea will be great for me to try the Dabline because they are small. Thanks for the demo...❤
Thank you for dropping by and congratulations on starting on this hobby. Angela Walters is amazing she makes it look so easy
Ya know Barry... I love this... This looks like someone Acually DID quilt that... you are sooo cute with your sayings!lol. I cannot FMQ... awesome hand quilter ... fair staight line quilter ... but fmq I mess up every time... never looks near as good as yours does... I love those rulers! I can't believe your abilities so far... !!!! I will def give ya a break... I know many long time sewists that don/t pull up their bottom thread still!. You are showing us the good.. the bad... the ugly so to speak and I love those rulers... they keep the fabric flat right next to them!!!! I have NEVER seen them! But then I am watching you and others... not them! Have a happy Wednesday! Kathi
Kathi - even I never know what’s going to come out of my mouth lol. I appreciate your kind comments. I am trying to get better everyday. I have been practicing pulling up my thread - I actually did it both times but I started recording the first time after I pulled up the bobbin thread. I was wondering why I was getting those nest on the bottom.
I think you did a very good job! Makes FMQ less intimidating. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much - that was my thought when I bought them?
Steady as she goes! Practice, practice I am sure you know. Good job😊
You’re right, it’s all about practice, right? I just need to get that pedal under control lol
Terrific first attempt! It felt silly the first time I tried using gloves but they actually quite beneficial when maneuvering the quilt & help you grip typical quilting rulers. I haven't seen the brand you unboxed before this. The handles on the frame & interchangeable templates look interesting. All techniques improve with practice. I made FMQ practice pads using old sheets & subsequently sewed them together using a quilt-as-you-method. Good to have in the car for an impromptu picnic.
I bought those off of Amazon. They were cheap so I said why not lol. I don’t think you really need that frame but I thought I would give it a whirl 😀
My thoughts? I never knew of that ruler system.
An overhead camera shot wow! Thanks for sharing your journey. An enjoyable video .
I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I’m just learning as I go!
You go! I do very simple quilting, large cross hatch and then almost stitch in the ditch, but sew a 1/4 inch away from the seam. I have been "piecing" for about 15 years and have never felt comfortable doing it. But based on your video, I went out to Amazon and am purchasing the simple stipple like what you did and then three wave type rulers that are about 10 inches long. Thanks for the inspiration!! I love blackie dogs! Your pup is very cute!!
I'm so excited you're getting into free motion quilting. Those are great rulers to start with! In my unlearned opinion. Let me know how you are doing!
Very good. I can't afford a long arm either and you give me hope watching you. Blessing.
Hey Chrissy - I am all about hope! I think these are ok and a stepping stone between straight line and full free motion quilting. Keep me posted on how you do.
That set of quilting rulers looks wonderful. I think you are very wise to learn to piece quilt tops and quilt them at the same time. I didn't learn how to do the quilting as I just found it too intimidating and now I can make advanced quilt tops but I am afraid to wreck them with my beginner quilting skills so I have about 10 tops waiting to be quilted.
I know exactly what you are saying. Hate to piece something just to ruin it with the quilting
MY first time watching your channel and I'm impressed for sure . I purchased this same Dabline kit awhile ago thinking if I could at least do the smaller projects it would save me a bundle but hadn't gotten the courage yet . Thank you so much !!!!! You've given me courage to try it and practice .
You've got this! Give it a try and let me know how you did. Slow and steady - I haven’t perfected that yet either. You can do it.
Hi Barry, that tool looks slick! I hadn't looked into these yet, so this video was very helpful. I was going to just do straight lines but this really looks good. It was nice to see Steve too lol! Take care! 🧡
I've been straight line stitching but am too afraid to free motion and I thought these might be a good transition? Steve says "Hello to you"
Thanks for sharing I’m going to have to get some of those rulers and give it a try! Cute pup too
Thank you very much - there are many options out there. I am not saying those are the best or cheapest. Look around and let me know how you are doing if you get something. Make sure to get a ruler foot for it.
@ thanks for the reply Barry. I’m brand new to quilting and feel very intimidated right now
Wow! I only do straight line quilting. I’m going to try Dabline. Inspiring!😊
I thought this was the best option for me to be able to quilt at home until I get proficient in free motion quilting which is way done the line
I love this!! Congratulations on your retirement!! 😉👏🏻🫡 You are doing great!!!! 🎉😍 I’m considering a Juki myself, if not a Janome M8? Not sure.🤔 Keep sewing!! 😸
I love the Juki, but I hear good things about the Janome M8 too, I'm sure you'll be happy with either! If you get the Juki think about getting the one with speed control. I wish I would have spent the extra money for that.
Way to go, practice makes you more comfortable as you go. Be kind to yourself. Like they say a finished project is better than perfect!
I’m working on it - thank you
Good for you Barry. I can't wait to see where you're at in a year. I want to buy that template kit. I learn something new everyday thank you. + Looking forward to next video. God bless
Thank you - I think these are a stepping stone from straight line stitching to full free motion quilting? I am learning something new everyday too - that’s a good thing
When I first got my templates they were hard! So I used my chalk and drew the pattern on my quilt and quilted that way!
I still like that idea but I thought these would be a good way to put my toes into the water.
I’m sure you will become very proficient at this form of quilting. As in everything it just takes practice. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! I appreciate the encouragement - I'll keep practicing!
Well done Sir, seeing how to use a stencil has made me actually sit down and try my Meander Stencil. I think you did perfectly for your first time. Wish me luck for mine 😂
I have been thinking about taking my meander template and drawing on the quilt top and then free motion the lines? I've seen Angela Walters do that so that may be my next move?
Good job Barry! Thanks for the video.
I am glad you liked it. I'm still learning so I appreciate your comment.
You did good! And practice makes perfect! 🤩
Thanks! I'm hoping to get better with practice too.
You are doing great!
Thanks so much for the encouragement!
I've been on the fence to trying these. Thanks for the video. I think I will give it a try.
I think these are a good stepping stone between straight line to free motion quilting which.
Good job Barry! You are motivating me to free motion quilt! Love Steve!
I hope I am motivating you. Steve is a great helper! He is right here beside me and say “Hey” 😀
Love it. Doesn't look bad at all.
Thank you very much
Great job Barry. I have them too. I have made 3 quits using them. I use them for smaller projects, double oven mitts, really anything I make for my girls
You are making the most of those rulers! Were they worth it? Do you use the frame?
You're adventurous ! I couldn't tell if you're bringing your bobbin thread up before you start but that helps to not get thread nests underneath. You did a great job for never using them before. Have a nice week !
I did but I edited it out the first time but if you watch a little later when I do the circles I caught it with my seam ripper. I’m learning 😀
You're braver than me! I'm scared to try that even by myself with no one watching!
I was too, but it’s a lot easier than I thought it would be! Give it a try - most you can do is stitch a lot on some fabric. Let me know how you do.
Fantastic effort Barry. ♥ I think you would find it a little easier if you were sitting a bit higher at the machine. When I'm piecing a quilt I sit a lower at the machine but when I'm quilting I raise the chair a bit. Try it and see how it goes.
I promise I will raise my chair and give it a try. I can't promise I won't change lol. I appreciate you!
I bought the Dabline set, but I didn't have luck with it the one time I tried using it. I bought the generic ruler foot from Dabline, but it didn't quite fit right on my Baby Lock Jazz. Using that foot didn't give me much room between the ankle of the foot and the template , so it kind of hit it and didn't want to move very smooth. I have recently got correct quilting feet for the Jazz, one of which I believe is a ruler foot, so I should try it again in the future. It's good to see they worked well for you. For the price, I think they are made well and definitely worth trying.
It’s great that you found the right foot for your machine, I’m sure it will work much better now! I’m going to give it my best but I hope to move up to free motion without the templates at some point. Let me know how you do!
I see you Mr. Barry. Cool tools. You always make me smile. Just finished walking a mile a the park. Happy Quilting!!
I’m glad I make you smile. 😜 that is what I hope for with each video.
Great job
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Nice job Barry. I've always wondered about these templates . I don't trust some of the videos out there as I don’t know which have been edited. Tried to order these but they are sold out so your video must have helped a bunch of people. I'm looking forward to your journey and watching more of your videos. Give Steve hugs, kisses and treats.
Sandy - I try to be authentic and true. I know exactly what you mean. Who is paying them, how much kick back are they getting? I just had someone complain about my thumbnails not being real. That's about the only thing here that isn't necessarily authentic but I figured I need the right bait to catch the fish lol. Steve says "Hello" :)
You'll get there Barry 😄
Thank you very much
Well that was fun! I too can't afford a longarm and I really don't want to send a quilt out to be quilted since that too is expensive (however, I have and probably will do). It was fujn to watch your "let's give it a go" with a new tool. Everything has a learning curve which can be frustrating, that 's Steve's job to calm the nerves 😬. BTW, I'm looking for my tub of old buttons full of multi-generational buttons. (I come from a long line of frugals 😂).
I hope you send a button and join the club!
Thank you Barry . I have the stencils. But I never tried them out.
You should give them a go. I think they are great to start out with or at least that is my hope.
Great video Barry. I have tried FMQ quilting on scraps several times but am not yet confident enough to do a quilt. Would love to try those rulers. Will send a button as soon as I get home from holidays. Desley Audtralia
Thank you, Desley. I hope you have a great holiday! I look forward to getting it and adding you to the club.
I've been wanting to try these kinds of rulers. Great vlog to encourage others to try.
Thanks, I hope it gives you the confidence to try too!
Thank you! I feeI so encouraged by this video. You show exactly what i went through mwhen was so discouraged when I tried FMQ the first time a few weeks ago. My speed was too fast , too slow, or a dead stop.
Yes I wish I had speed control - I really need to practice it. I want to do pedal to the metal
Thank you for showing it like it really is. My 1st FMQ attempt last week was a disaster.
It’s ok to have some disasters along the way, you just have to keep trying! I bet you are better than you say 🫠
I’m enjoying your videos. You are doing well. 😊
Thanks so much!
Great Job Barry! 🎉. First time I tried the templates I sewed over the template and broke my needle. It took me a few months to try it again. It takes time but we can do it. 👍🏼
Give them a try and keep me posted on how you are doing!
Just found your channel, YT recommended it to me! I am happy to have found you, and I’m sending you a button! That was impressive, never seen those before. I sew but only quilt small items like zipper pouches snd totes! Never have I quilted a quilt blanket!
Thank you for checking the channel out. I hope that I can earn you coming back again and again. I would be honored to welcome you into the Memory Makers button club. Put a little note in letting us know what memory, hope, dream or goal it represents if you want. Can’t wait to see it.
I was thinking of trying some of those rulers, but have started with simple stairght line using quilting foot. Also did my first free motion meander. It was easy! The gloves do help and some favorite music too. Also helpful is a rubber mat under machine to reduce movement and noise.
Great tips. I thought about free motion meander but I am afraid of crossing lines. I guess I just need to practice. Thank you and I’ll look for a mat.
Great job, I would suggest a slider mat on your machine bed for fmq.
Thanks! I'm going to try that.
I give you a lot of credit for taking on free motion quilting so early in your quilt making journey! I hand quilted for years, but it took me forever. Good luck with the rulers!
I thought the same thing but we have to try asap ! Bisous
Thanks- It is a lot to take in at first but I think it will pay off in the long run.
I also got that Dabline kit, but haven't tried it yet. I did notice it comes with a card of sticky grippy decals to put on the underside of the templates to grip the fabric. Also, I heard a tip to set the Juki on turtle and floor it 😅, to keep control and a steady rate. Thanks for putting this up.
My juki doesn’t gave that option. I should have spent the extra money for it. Let me know if you try it and how you do.
Those are some very neat gadgets. I think you did great job first time around. Practice does make perfect. I don’t think it would take very long to do a nice size quilt and would just be fun and relaxing to do. Steve is a pretty dog. I got my 2 girls here with me. Lucy my 7 lb chihuahua and Molly my 65 lb pit bull. Sisters from a different mommy and daddy.
Hello to Lucy and Molly - Steve says “hey ladies”😉 I am trying to practice. So much to do so little time
Bravo! Being new to quilting you certainly are adventurous and doing very well. I like to piece but not so much the quilting part. I’ve got quilting rulers but not like yours. When I got them 7years ago they were pricey and I’ve only used one just once. Your enthusiasm is great. Can’t wait to see how you grow in this adventure of yours. 😊
Thanks! I'm enjoying the challenge and learning lots! I am like you. I love to piece. There is nothing better than sewing Half Square Triangles together :)
Loved the free motion quilting rulers. Maybe if you tape the inside design ruler to the frame you would have fewer problems. Keep quilting. ❤
That is a great idea. I'll have to give that a try.
There is a foot for your machine that is made to work with the rulers. Game changer. The gloves help so much with moving the fabric around.
I have the ruler foot. I need to get some gloves that fit me (fat hands) lol
Fun!
Thank you
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. I am also new to quilting and am enjoying it. Your camera man Steve looks to be a great assistant. Have a great one and well done!
Congratulations on starting down this great hobby too! Have you completed any quilts yet? I hope to finish my big quilt soon. Keep me posted on how you are doing
Good job. I may have to try those templates.
Great to see you again. I bought them on Amazon. Look around you might find something better?
Very cool 😊
Thank uou
I enjoy your videos. Great job
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoy them.
Perfect fun video Barry. Don’t listen to Steve 😆
the button club is such a cute idea. I am going to dig through my buttons and choose one… ‘sigh’ after I shovel again. The snow is pouring down again today.
Aaaaa and when you see my full name, I don’t know what you’ll think, it is part of your address. Ttyl
👋 Chris Ont 🇨🇦
Chris I’ll be looking to add your button to the jar. I’m going to try and do a video showing some of the ones I’ve received already. Stay warm
