This cake is so beautiful in every way. I made this for my daughter's birthday (her 41st birthday) and it was a huge hit. Not too sweet, gorgeous to look at, and something a little different instead of a regular old birthday cake. Already made it again today for company coming this weekend.

tru hazelnut meal/flour to keep the hazelnut flavour, but i am sure using either will work fine! just make sure you do correct substitutions. It will be a more moist/dense but delicate cake :)
+Alexis Nicolas i'm vegan and i use Silk Tofu instead of ricotta, there is a famous brand from Usa it is called Tofutti if i'm not wrong, or you can substitute with normal tofu mashed :D

Could you use almond flour instead to make it glutenfree or would that not work as well?
