To be honest, I didnt expect that, out of all the bosses, Champion Gundyr would be the one to cause you such trouble. Since you dealt with his previous form rather easily I expected this to go rather smoothly. I think your main problem were inpulse dodges. By this i mean you tend to dodge on impulse rather than watching his attack timings and roll when it was actually necessary. This guy in particular is very aggressive and can have some tricky timing in his attacks. Although he's very learnable, he punished careless dodging very effectively. It was mostly his slightly delayed attacks that got you whete you rolled to early.

Gundyr felt a lot different this time. His attacks were way more aggressive and I think I was just overdoing the dodges like you explained.
