Glad to see some vids of a LC250 being put thru its paces. Hopefully this will shut up the many who have never driven the vehicle, yet want to claim how terrible it is, and Toyota is...keep us posted please.
You guys really captured how fun this event was so yeah I’ll be watching this more than once. Until I attend it again that is. Kudos to the videographer.
Nice! I've done a couple of those in my 80 and while I wish I had a ton of footage of it, it's nice to just enjoy it for enjoyment's sake and not worry about capturing everything for the socials.
Great video. Very impressive what you took it through. Glad I found your channel as I just got the first edition. Nice job on this video. One of the best I have watched. .
@@noctilucent7396 It's a great vehicle. Super smooth. The only 2 decision drawbacks would be if you need to tow a decent sized boat or something like very far (max payload is 6k lbs) or you had to have 3rd row. For off roading, the electric motor gives it super responsive torque. I went with the middle trim premium package. I really would have gone 1958 and bought different wheels if a few feature items were available factory options for the 1958 trim.

Loving it so far!
Absolutely impressive in stock form, that’s a Land Cruiser for you. Great video.
Mad respect for not swapping the tires out.... that would be my first move!

That old taco had an impressive flex

Taking it all in is the best part.
Great video, keep them coming!

Thank you for the kind words! They are very impressive rigs.
I've got 2k miles on mine... It rules. Best car I have driven.
I'll be getting one soon thought about getting a 200 series but I don't need a heavy duty land cruiser, rather go light duty

I agree. Best I have had so far.
LOVE MY KENDAS!!!!
Epic Sherpa! Great being there. That 3 hour wait on Black Bear for the Taco that rolled over wasn't so good.
I haven't done Black Bear but my 1958 went over Imogene on 7/20 :)
That LC looks like it has a good turn radius. Cool video. Goes to show that most of the “trails” out there don’t need a built rig. Nice driving 👍
It handled it very well.
Great vid 👍🏽
Thank you!
I can't believe the Land cruisers tires held out
Sherpa 'Till Death!
😘
Saw the Cruiser out there, we were running the CO BDR and ran across you guys on the passes between Silverton and Lake City.
Sweet, stoked you bumped into us. Sounds like you had an amazing trip!
@@sherpaec Always a good time in the San Juans.
Glad you were not with the taco that flopped. What is that in front of you on bbp 5:17?
Grand Lotus ❤
Are those the 20" stock premium wheels or the 18" wheels on the LC?
@@showmemorefunthings9208 those are the 18” wheels!
Curious what fire pit you were using in the night shot?
Howl Campfires!
Nice! I've tried to sign up for this event for the last two years but it's always sold out before I'm off work.
It sells out quick!
Black Bear looks different than how I remembered. The trail looks wider.
any other info on the rolled Tacoma that day?
how's the transmission holding up on the 24 tacoma?
We have had zero issues with ours, 12k miles so far.
whats the song for the imogene pass segment?
It’s Australia by Grand Lotus

Why that cursed music track? Editor - no one is impressed by your music taste
Thanks for your input! We have since let him go due to his poor music taste.
@@sherpaechope not! The music was fine; kinda nice and mellow, change of pace for car vids.

Anyone running any Colorado trails in street tires is a stooge.
We are not afraid of the dirty work.
A significant portion of Colorado trails can be run on street tires.

What front bumper does the GX have?
Unsure what bumper it was, sorry we can't be of more help.
