    Love the channel. Are you running the stock 50T sprocket and 10T clutch? I just did the governor bypass and went straight chain on my Massimo MB200 and got 48 top speed, but it’s pretty bogged down until you hit 25mph and get mid range rpm’s. Hoping that adding the stage 1 kit next weekend will get more torque on the low end and get my RPMs higher a bit faster. Any other suggestions on how to get more torque on a straight chain or get into the RPM sweet spot more quickly?

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I think the straight chain would benefit from a little bigger sprocket with the tall tires that are on this bike. I think a 60 tooth would be a great compromise between top speed and low end torque . I was running a 50 in this video and a 10 clutch

    My issue with stock Coleman 200 exv is that it runs full throttle when I turn off choke. I cut the restriction screw and moved tension spring to a different hole on gov. arm. I also swapped a new stock carb and same issue. Put spring back and still running away with choke off. I want to put a good carb on but issue is it's for my son that doesn't live close by and I won't be able to keep adjusting and resolving pop up issues. Any idea of what I can do so it's a one shot deal? At least so it runs well for awhile without issues?

    When I ordered my Stage 2 Kit it came with 2 different Jets. A .036 & .037. I have no idea which one I have installed on my bike now but is there a way to tell just by looking at the jets themselves which size they are ? I tried looking inside each jet to see which had a larger opening when I first got them in the mail but it was so hard to tell the difference for me. They basically looked the same to me. Obviosly I want the one that will give me the most power but how do I tell which is which ? They are no longer in the original packaging that they came in so is there another way to tell ?

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If there are no markings on the jet you can use a jet chart . With a drill bit set, You could match the jet to its corresponding numbered drill bit.

    • @Deucealive75
      @Deucealive75 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know why. You can't use the stock linkage arrangement after you remove the governor. The governor was responsible for moving the throttle on the carb to the idle position after you start it and open the choke. It's no longer there to do that job. You need a new linkage setup that works without the governor.
