Thanks for the video..Those rotary-style phones without the dialer, often called "candlestick phones" or "manual service phones," existed because, in the early days of telephony, calls were manually connected by an operator. Users would pick up the receiver and speak to the operator, who would then manually connect the call by plugging in the appropriate cables at the switchboard.
Hi Tom! I love watching your videos. I live about 30 minutes west of Brimfield and love going there… I noticed you picked up some Fiestaware which I collect and have quite a but if my grandmothers, as for those with some utensil marks the best way to get rid of that is with barkeepers‘s friend a scouring powder you can usually find it at your local Stop & Shop and sometimes they have it at Walmart a little cheaper. Cheers! Jeff 😊
I'm surprised no one called you out on your open umbrella in the tent, although you closed it sometimes. You are dripping all over their merch. July Brimfield starts Tuesday July 9. Tell what field you are in if you can and what day of the week. I sold in Brimfield for 20 years. I miss doing it but it's so much work😂. You are right a rainy day in Brimfield is still better than anywhere else.
I have the Micronta Multimeter that you picked up at 5:26. It was my first meter and I still prefer analog to digital for diagnostics due to being able to get "twitch" readings.
Great video Tom. I saw a Foghorn Leghorn character glass when you picked up that Daisy Duck glass. That one of the character glasses I can't find here in NC.👍
It was so sad seeing all of the beautiful wooden pieces outside of tents and buildings getting drenched with rain the day that I went this year. Fabrics getting saturated and muddy, anything electronic... it was a hard one!
Hi, I'm a new subscriber. I've been binge watching your whole flea market playlist from newest to oldest and so far I saw two Made in Japan Donald Ducks that you said probably 70's that were definitely from Tokyo Disneyland. IDK what year they opened. Also I know it's not your thing, but in two videos you went passed what looked like a precolumbian Mayan ceramic. LoL it could have been the find of a lifetime or a tourist repro, but a lady recently gave one to the Mexican National Museum that she found at Goodwill for a few bucks. So it could happen
The time to go is when the dealers are setting up. Back when everyday a new market would open up. I would be at Brimfield for almost a week and hit 90 per cent of the dealers. My feet would be killing me by the end of the week! LOL
To remove those black marks in the coffee mugs... I was told there is a product ( in the household cleaner area ) called The Bartenders Friend ( or something close to that ) that works really well. I was told Walmart carries it over were the Ajax & such is at. :~)
Just wondering, I heard there’s a good flea market in Londonderry NH, wondered if you have been there and if it’s worth my time to go there. Love your channel!

That phone was clearly to call BATMAN. 😂 Enjoyed the video.
Thanks for the video. I guess the dog was hunting for bargains, too.😀
Yes thank you. I would love to see a video of your personal collections asap.
Rain Days at outdoor shows, are great buying opportunities! 😊
Curto seus vídeos aqui do Brasil.
Thanks
I think the rain adds to the atmosphere. Please use a pen or pencil to scour the boxes of pins!!! Nice score on the Fiestaware!

Your videos make my day 😊thank you
You've motivated me to go this year! I'm only an 1.5 hour west of Brimfield, so no excuses. Lol.
What a nice flea market I would love too go there

No need for a umbrella. A lot rain hurts no one.

@28:28 the bank plugs can be replaced. Home depot, search rubber grommet or electric box rubber knock out plug or rubber hole plug.

On a previous video you found a Bubble Up bottle. I remember that soda from the seventies in Los Angeles

Velvet mill in stonington connecticut. Try it out!
I was there!
Look at more glass please!
It’s a direct line phone like what a va or old military base would have had I. The 60s 70s
The phone that had no dial would be a phone that back when a operator got incoming calls and the call would be transfered to that type of phone.
Have you tested yourself with the Geiger counter???
Are you ever gonna do a collection tour
Since you glow in the dark you're going to save tons money from not needing light bulbs. 😊

Bar Keepers Friend. It is in a gold container with a blue shield with white lettering. It's great stuff.
@@exlimey1417 Thanks ! I hadn't picked any of it up yet. An couldn't remember all the details. :~)

Walmart is always out of it. Good luck!
you could simply try a bit of lemon juice first. Depending on the stain, vinegar or a bit of tooth paste also might do the trick
i dont understand how anyone makes a living selling this stuff

Yes indeed 7/9 is the date and I sure hope I can get the opportunity to visit this you d rather than the short September run
It's looking like it will be another wet one through most of the week, too.
Is receiver call phone only normally they have those phones so the employee don’t make private phone calls
3000CPM. Not great, not terrible.
Wonder what would happen if you did eat off those
Why do you want radioactive bowls and cups ??
Ugh fiesta ware… it’s losing popularity anymore at least where I live… we get it in our store and I price it at $4 a cup or plate
Look it up on your own instead having everyone do it for u
You need a unbrella hat you wear on your head.
