Never. FAMU is tradition. When these directors have passed on the incoming will uphold the legacy. I suggest the schools dance team travel everywhere the band goes (separate from the band) just for a friendly competition with other schools auxiliary. But who would fund that so. Wishful thinking.
FAMU and Cookman were the only 2 Florida bands that didn't have dance squads until Cookman gave in in 83ish. Back then, the philosophy was The Band was the show. No Auxiliaries
