As a nonviolent felon I wasn't able to hunt anymore and just found out in the state I live I can use a 357 air rifle to hunt deer .. I'm glad I came across your channel got a new sub
Thank you, I had a family law restraining order from California while going thru a divorce. No crimes need to be committed. I lost gun rights for 8 years because she claimed she was afraid (with no reason or grounds). She knew how to hit me since I was a master gunsmith. Airguns let me hunt still. Glad you found this out. I feel for you brother. Best of luck!
@@MichiganAirgunner I knew you weren't that far away. I do airguns, slingshots, and big bore blow guns man! Always game to have fun with other enthusiasts!
@@MichiganAirgunner I would recommend a slingshot. It's a lot like archery, fits in the pocket easily, and is great for the barking squirrels when in the deer stand. Works great for those fuzzy rats that are ruining a deer hunt. Not loud enough to spoke any deer really either.
jeez never heard of a big bore air rifle , here in the uk we can only use a .177 or a .22 again we live in the snowflake uk , great vid bud , looks like your sorted for some nice meat for a few months
Neck shots are devastating to a deer & they usually drop in their tracks so that's where I shoot with powder burners or pcp especially if I'm not mounting the deer...
As long as you have the energy or accuracy to break the neck. The heart is a bigger target than the spine as well as has room for error with the ability of a double lung.
@@SLINGSHOTFEVERpullshootrepeat there are alot involved inside the neck , esophagus, main arteries, spine etc. A & if u hit any of tbe three the deer will immediately drop !
@@SLINGSHOTFEVERpullshootrepeat I agree to disagree because it's been done for years with 22LR / 22 MAG ... THERES BEEN ALOT OF DEER KILLED INSTANTLY BY SHOOTING THE DEER IN THE WHITE PATCH IN THE THROAT UNDER THE BOTTOM JAW ... TRUST ME U CAN SHOOT ANY DEER IN THE WORLD IN THAT WHITE PATCH OF THE THROAT AND THE DEER WILL DROP IN ITS TRACKS !
Is your Benjamin bulldog stock? Cuz you said full pass through that's a lot of power if it went all the way through that deer someone is your gun upgraded or did it do that stock? If it didn't start then while air rifle was very powerful and lethal could probably actually use it for home defense I would definitely not want to be shot with it.
@@SLINGSHOTFEVERpullshootrepeat almost forgot I asked you about your bulldog and I went back and read what I sent you and there is so many errors in that. That's my bad I'm using speech text so I will just say whatever I need to in my phone and my phone will interpret what I say and I talk very fast so that's where the errors came from. But wow man that is ridiculous. That bulldog packs a punch so I can imagine if it was upgraded or something the type of damage it would do. That's awesome. Great video.
@@jliswins9396 no worries man. Thank you. This summer I may play with power tuning it for more accuracy, but I get a 7 shot sub 2 inch group at 50 yards. Good enough for where I hunt.
@@SLINGSHOTFEVERpullshootrepeat oh yes that is perfect. 50-60 yard shots for hunting are the best. Well so I've seen and heard from all the other TH-camrs lol. But congrats on your deer and keep releasing content and I'll keep watching 💯

Very cool rig and a great deer for the freezer!
Thanks! He tastes very good!
My first airgun deer was with a benjamin bulldog great gun.. lot of fun when u start making your own slugs... great job
Thanks man! We need to hook up so I can try some for accuracy and know what mold to get. I'm over in Grayling. Love your channel bro!

Wow, I didn't realize we hunt with an air rifle here in Michigan, have to look into getting one. Congrats of the buck, he'll eat great.
Heck yeah man, check it out. Still has to be done in firearm season and .35cal or bigger.
I dropped a 90lbs deer two months ago with my bulldog .357. At a 90 yards distance with a nossler bullet.
Yeah buddy, shot placement is key. They act totally different than how they act when a powder burner goes off.
Hi nice video what yardage was your deer shot? I just recv box those 127 gr flat nose slugs. They have good accurate to how far out? Thanks
He was only 20 yards but I shoot sub 2 inch groups at 50yards with them.

Yes, no power upgrades at all. Completely stock setup! I didn't even play with the hammer spring.
