It's a completely different style from the Going Merry video (a lot of things are done in 2D), but I hope that you'll like it too.

I also used this wiki page that had some interesting sketches: onepiece.fandom.com/es/wiki/Going_Merry Some rooms (like the one below the dining room) change many times during the series (sometimes it's empty, sometimes Nami works there, sometimes it's full of boxes and bags, sometimes Chopper works there), so I just chose the option I preferred.
I'd love modeling the thousand sunny, but It's not in my plans right now... I'm currently working on a mobile game (it's not related to One Piece, but it's gonna be cool!)

Sometimes it was empty, sometimes it was full of boxes and bags, sometimes it was Chopper’s workroom, sometimes Nami worked there… So I had to do my own reinterpretation 😅

I'm sorry I answer so late, my main computer broke 2 months ago so I haven't received notifications :( The thing is, I modelled the Going Merry as a way to improve my 3D Demo Reel when I was unemployed. But after that, I really wanted to create my own mobile game, so I began studying Unity programming, and I'm still working on the game at the moment (I'll upload some videos about the game in this channel when I finish it!). Maybe someday I'll have time to model the Thousand Sunny, but it won't be soon, I'm sorry :(

Hahaha I'm glad that you saw the cannon! I added some details in Unity when I was learning some VFX tricks (the cannon, the fire in the kitchen, the smoke from the stationary bicycle...)
Hahah I would have loved to model and animate some straw hats (in fact I began modelling Zoro). But it would have been too much time… So I only modelled some item of every member
hahah in fact I started modeling Zoro, but I thought it would be too much work to model every character so I decided to do it without anyone😅. There are only some of their items (Luffy's straw hat, Nami's bracelet, Usopp's slingshot, Zoro's swords, Chopper's laboratory, Sanji's cigarette)

I wanted to improve my 3D Demo Reel, and my first 3D job was working for a Flight Simulator (where I learnt to model ships), so I had some experience. At the beginning I just wanted to model the outside of the ship, but I complicated myself a little bit more haha.
