Depends on the dye you use, we are using Dharma, so they instruct us 12-24 Hours,

Okay now I get, I am in Nigeria, someone ask me to do so, I left it from night to morning, the cloth looks very faded in the morning, I have to redye it to come out well again, I believe our dye here is different from yours

You may check the T-shirt, it might dyeable 100% Cotton is the ideal for tie dye, less than 100% cotton probably faded

@@eniolaadeyemi4070 2 possibilities I can think of. If the shirt is not 100% cotton, the synthetic fiber will not take up dye properly. If you don't adjust the pH with soda ash, even cotton will take up the dye poorly.

When you buy a fiver reactive dye, there’s instructions to them, but I know vinegar is for food, don’t put to your clothes 😀😀
